Ministry of Foreign Affairs
on the adoption of an amendment to Article 12.1 of the Agreement establishing the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announces that on 18 May 2023 an amendment was adopted to Article 12.1 of the Agreement establishing the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development 1), resulting from Resolution 260 of the Governing Council of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
The Parliament of the Czech Republic agreed to the amendment and the President of the Republic signed the instrument of acceptance of the amendment.
The amendment entered into force on 26 June 2025 on the basis of Article 56 (3) and entered into force on that date for the Czech Republic.
The English version of the amendment and its translation into the Czech language are announced simultaneously.

Translation of international contract into Czech language
Appendix to the Agreement establishing the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development - Article 12.1
The original text of Article 12.1 of the Agreement establishing the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development is deleted and the following text is added:
"The Board of Directors shall set and maintain appropriate limits with regard to solvency indicators in order to protect the Bank's financial health and sustainability. '

The Appendix to the Agreement on the establishment of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for the purposes of the inclusion of Mongolia as countries in which the Bank operates, adopted on 30 January 2004, was published under No 62 / 2012 Coll., Amendment to Article 18 of the Agreement on the establishment of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development resulting from Resolution No 138 of the Governing Council of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, adopted on 30 September 2011, was published under No 29 / 2013 Coll. Amendment to Article 1 of the Agreement on the establishment of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development resulting from the Resolution of the Governing Council of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development No 137, adopted on 30 September 2011, issued under No 43 / 2015 Coll.
