DECLARATION
Minister for Finance
of 15 March 1963
on the issue of coins after 50 pennies
The Minister of Finance declares pursuant to § 3 (2) of Act No. 41 / 1953 Coll.:
On 1 April 1963, coins of 50 pennies are put into circulation.
(1) Coins of 50 pennies are rolled from a tombak consisting of 90 parts of copper and 10 parts of zinc. From 1 kg of coin metal, 333 coins are rolled. The diameter of the coin is 21.5 mm, its edge is grafted.
(2) The up and down tolerance is in the gross weight of the coin 20 / 1000 and in the zinc content 1%.
On the face of the coin is the state sign of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic, around it in one row the inscription "CZECHOSLOVAK SOCIALISTIC REPUBLIC" and the year of production is indicated in the open space below. On the back of the coin, the coin's value is marked with a large figure of "50," which is placed between the lipid flips at the bottom in the middle of the ribbon. There's a five-point star at the end of the lip twigs up in the middle of the number.
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
