DECLARATION
of 15 June 2020
amending Decree No 100 / 1996 Coll., laying down the formalities for the application for a licence in the forestry sector and details of the granting of licences in the forestry sector, as amended by Decree No 324 / 2003 Coll.
The Ministry of Agriculture provides pursuant to § 44 (5) of Act No. 289 / 1995 Coll., on Forests and on the amendment and addition of certain laws (Forest Act):
Decree No. 100 / 1996 Coll., laying down the formalities for the application for a forest licence and the details of the granting of licences in forestry, as amended by Decree No. 324 / 2003 Coll., is hereby amended as follows:
1. In Paragraph 1 (1), the comma at the end of point (f) is replaced by a dot and point (g) is deleted.
2. In Paragraph 1 (2), the comma at the end of point (h) is replaced by a dot and point (i) is deleted.

Professional forestry education
When assessing the conditions for granting a licence, professional forestry education shall be documented:
(a) a university diploma on graduating from the field of forestry and timber education in the master's programme of forest engineering;
(b) a university diploma on the completion of studies in forestry and timber education in the Bachelor's Forestry Programme;
(c) a certificate of completion and diploma of a graduate of higher vocational education obtained in the field of forestry, higher professional forestry or in an accredited training programme of the field of forestry education; or
(d) evidence of high school graduation, field of forestry education. "
Efficacy
This Decision shall enter into force on 1 July 2020.
