DECLARATION

amending and supplementing Decree No 9 / 1959 of the Ú. l issue the basic conditions for delivery of non-periodic publications
The Ministry of Education and Culture, in agreement with other supply and customer ministries (central offices and authorities) and after approval by the main arbiter of the Czechoslovak Republic, provides pursuant to Section 192 of Act No. 69 / 1958 Coll., on Economic Relations between Socialist Organisations:
The provisions of Decree No 9 / 1959 of the Ú. l., valid for book wholesale, apply to the Czechoslovak Publishing Association from the date of its establishment, with the following derogations.
(1) In the relationship between publishing companies and the Association of Czechoslovak Publishers, economic contracts are concluded in accordance with the provisions of Decree No 9 / 1959 of the Ú. l. only for the supply of news; However, Article 3 (1) of the Decree cited does not apply.
(2) Other supplies in the relationship between the publishing undertakings and the Association will be contracted by a separate storage and sale contract (Section 186 et seq. of the Act), concluded on a case-by-case basis on a proposal from the publishing company; the details of the conclusion of these contracts and the conditions for storage and sale shall be laid down by the Ministry of Education and Culture.
This decree shall take effect from the date of its publication.
