GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 1 July 2021
on the use of the Army of the Czech Republic in the period up to 31 August 2021 to deal with the consequences of a disaster caused by tornado and storm
The Government orders pursuant to § 16 paragraph 4 of Act No. 219 / 1999 Coll., on the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic, as amended by Act No. 546 / 2005 Coll.:
A maximum of 1 000 soldiers in active duty shall be used to deal with the consequences of the disaster caused by tornado and storm in the territory of the South Moravian Region and the Ústí Region.
Soldiers in active duty shall carry out the tasks referred to in Section 1 upon request by the captain of the South Moravian Region or the Ústí Region.
The Minister of Defence shall designate troops in active service, including military equipment, to carry out the tasks referred to in Section 1.
(1) This Regulation shall enter into force on the day following that of its publication.
(2) This Regulation shall expire on 31 August 2021.
