GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 28 January 2015
amending Government Decree No. 5 / 2003 Coll., on cultural awards awarded by the Ministry of Culture, as amended
The Government orders pursuant to § 49 (6) of Act No. 218 / 2000 Coll., on budgetary rules and on the amendment of certain related laws (budgetary rules), as amended by Act No. 26 / 2008 Coll.:
Government Decree No. 5 / 2003 Coll., on awards in the field of culture awarded by the Ministry of Culture, as amended by Government Decree No. 98 / 2006 Coll. and Government Decree No. 126 / 2009 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. In Article 2, at the end of point (o), the dot is replaced by a comma and the following points (p) and (q) are added:
"(p) The patron of Czech culture,
q) Knight / Lady of Czech Culture. '.
2. Paragraph 17 (3) reads as follows:
"(3) The award for the most beautiful Czech book of the year is awarded in categories
(a) specialised literature;
b) beautiful literature,
(c) literature for children and youth;
(d) textbooks for schools of all degrees and other didactic aids;
(e) books on fine arts,
(f) catalogues,
(g) bibliophily and authors' books. ';
3. In Paragraph 28 (2), "death 'is replaced by" death'.
4. After Paragraph 28, the following Sections 28a to 28d are inserted:
"The patron of Czech culture
(1) The Award of the Mecenas of Czech Culture is awarded for the promotion of Czech culture.
(2) The award is awarded to a natural or legal person; it may also be granted to a natural person in memory.
(3) The award of the Mecenas of Czech Culture can be awarded on a yearly basis on 27 February. In a calendar year, a maximum of ten medals of the Czech culture can be awarded.
(4) The award consists of a diploma and a metal medal, including a title.
(1) Proposals for the award of a valuation pursuant to Article 28a may be submitted by natural or legal persons before 31 December of the year preceding the award of the valuation. The award may also be awarded on its own initiative.
(2) The application for an award pursuant to Paragraph 28a shall be submitted in writing and shall include the name, surname and place of residence of the natural person, or the business name and registered office of the legal person proposed for the award of the award and the justification for the proposal. In the case of a proposal to award an award in memoriam, the proposal shall include the name, surname and date of death of the natural person proposed to award the award, the justification of the proposal and the name, surname and place of permanent residence of the natural person who could assume the award.
(3) The Minister decides on the award of the valuation under § 28a.
Knight / Lady of Czech Culture
(1) The Knights / Lady of Czech Culture award is awarded for its contribution to the development of cultural, spiritual and ethical values.
(2) The Knights / Lady of Czech Culture award is granted to a natural person; it can also be awarded in memoriam.
(3) The Knights / Lady of Czech Culture award can be awarded annually on 27 February. In a calendar year a maximum of ten medals of Knights / Lady of Czech Culture may be awarded.
(4) The award consists of a diploma and a metal medal, including a title.
(1) Proposals for the award of a valuation pursuant to Article 28c may be submitted by natural or legal persons before 31 December of the year preceding the award of the valuation. The award may also be awarded on its own initiative.
(2) The application for a valuation pursuant to § 28c shall be submitted in writing and shall include the name, surname and place of permanent residence of the natural person proposed for the award of the valuation and justification of the proposal. In the case of a proposal to award an award in memoriam, the proposal shall include the name, surname and date of death of the natural person proposed to award the award, the justification of the proposal and the name, surname and place of permanent residence of the natural person who could assume the award.
(3) The Minister shall decide on the award of the valuation under § 28c. '
5. In Article 29 (1), the words "and 28 (1) 'are replaced by the words", 28 (1), 28b (1) and 28d (1)'.
6. In Article 29 (2), "and 25 'is replaced by", 25, 28a and 28c';
Efficacy
This Regulation shall take effect on 10 February 2015.
