DECLARATION

of 12 January 2009

on the declaration of the National Natural Monuments of Hell and the establishment of its closer protection conditions

The Ministry of the Environment provides pursuant to § 79 (3) (c) of Act No. 114 / 1992 Coll., on the Conservation of Nature and Landscape, as amended by Act No. 218 / 2004 Coll. and Act No. 312 / 2008 Coll., ("the Act '):

§ 1

Subject matter

(1) The National Natural Monument of Hell ("the National Natural Monument") is announced.

(2) The object of protection is the geomorphologically valuable canonical valley of the Robeč stream created in the sovereign chalk block sandstone and a complex of swamps and ash ludges forming a biotope of rare and endangered species of plants and animals, including numerous populations of the pale spring (Leucojum vernum) in the valley.

§ 2

Definition of national natural heritage

The national natural monument is situated in the territory of the Liberec Region in the cadastral territories of Kvítkov u České Lípa, Sosnová u České Lípa and Zahradka u České Lípa. The boundaries of the national natural monument shall be determined by a closed geometric pattern with direct sides, the vertices of which are determined by the coordinates of the single trigonometric network of the cadastral1). The list of coordinates of the vertices of the geometric pattern as they follow in the pattern is given in Annex 1 to this decree. An indicative graphical representation of the territory of the national natural monument is given in Annex 2 to this decree.

§ 3

Closer protection conditions

Only with the consent of the competent nature conservation authority can the national natural monument

(a) make changes to the type of land or the way in which it is used (2);

(b) to adjust the surface of the road using non-local material of the same geological origin;

(c) carry out marking of rock-climbing terrain, placing or maintenance of rock-climbing equipment, including the installation of permanent means of safety;

d) conduct climbing activities outside the climbing terrain marked in accordance with this decree;

(e) mark cycling routes or hiking trails;

(f) establish hunting equipment;

g) start fires.

§ 4

Efficacy

This Decree shall take effect on 1 February 2009.
