Decree of the Minister of Finance
of 27 February 1950
on embossing and issuing coins of 1 CZK aluminium.
The Minister of Finance provides, pursuant to Article 3 of Act No. 39 / 1948 Coll., on the tender of the Czechoslovak currency:
§ 1.
(1) Coins of Czechoslovak currency after 1 Ccs are rolled from a mixture of 98 aluminium parts and 2 magnesium parts. A kilo of coin metal is worth 750 pieces of crowns. The coin diameter is 21 mm. In the case of stamping, the deviation up and down is allowed in gross weight 30 / 1000 and in purity 20 / 1000.
(2) On the face of the crown coin is the state emblem of the Czechoslovak Republic, around it the inscription "REPUBLIC OF CZECHOSLOVSKÁ" in one line with two stars, among which is the year of embossing.
(3) On the reverse of the crown coin is a picture of a kneeling woman who holds on the left a snop ear with August and wipes off with her forehead sweat; next to is a small branch of the lip and the designation "1." Under the painting is the name of the author "O. SPANIEL."
(4) The edge of the coin is scored; There's a flat frame on both sides.
§ 2.
(1) Coins after 1 Kcs of aluminium will begin to issue the National Bank of Czechoslovakia on the day of publication of this decree.
(2) So far, coins of 1 CZK remain in circulation as legal tender.
§ 3.
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
