GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 17 May 2021
setting the amount of State budget funds intended to provide financial compensation for indirect costs for sectors where a significant risk of carbon leakage has been identified as a result of the projection of greenhouse gas emissions into electricity prices in 2020
The Government hereby orders pursuant to Article 11 (1) of Act No. 383 / 2012 Coll., on the terms and conditions of greenhouse gas emission allowance trading, as amended by Act No. 1 / 2020 Coll.:
Amount of State Budget Funds
The amount of state budget funds intended to provide financial compensation for indirect costs for sectors where a significant risk of carbon leakage was found as a result of the projection of emissions into electricity prices for 2020 is CZK 1,300,000.
Efficacy
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 July 2021.
