DECLARATION
of 27 April 2020
on the evaluation of pupil education results in the second half of the school year 2019 / 2020
The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports provides, pursuant to Sections 56, 71 and 112 of Act No. 561 / 2004 Coll., on Pre-School, Basic, Medium, Higher Vocational and Other Education (Education Act):
Evaluation of pupils
(1) In primary education, secondary education and conservatory education, the evaluation of student education results is based on the second half of the school year 2019 / 2020
(a) the basis for the evaluations obtained during the second half of the year at a time when the pupil is required to attend school properly;
(b) supporting documents for assessments obtained from distance education, if the pupil has conditions for such training, or supporting documents for evaluations obtained from educational activities carried out at school at a time when the pupil is not required to attend school properly; and
(c) in support of the evaluation of student results for the first half of the school year 2019 / 2020.
(2) The rules in the school rules or the rules for evaluating the results of pupils' education approved by the school board which are contrary to paragraph 1 or which do not allow the evaluation of pupils for the second half of the school year 2019 / 2020 referred to in paragraph 1 shall not apply.
(3) In the second half of the school year 2019 / 2020, in secondary education and in the Conservatory, the assessment of the educational outcomes of the pupil may also be based on evidence of work obligations undertaken under the Crisis Act or Voluntary Assistance when they relate to the field of education.
(4) Paragraph 1 shall apply mutatis mutandis to basic art education.
Tests and comic trials
If the pupil's assessment is carried out by a statutory examination or a comitology examination, or by an individual training plan, they shall not be affected by the pupil's conduct and evaluation under this decree.
Specific rules for pupils holding the final or final examination
(1) In the second half of the school year 2019 / 2020, a student of a secondary school or conservatory who has applied for the spring trial period of 2020 for a graduation or final examination may not be assessed as "5 - insufficient 'or" unrated (a)' or equivalent verbal evaluation; Instead, the word "benefit (a) 'or other equivalent verbal evaluation shall be given for each item or overall assessment.
(2) The provisions of Section 2 shall not apply to a student of a secondary school or conservatory who has applied for the spring trial period of 2020 for a graduate examination or is undergoing a final examination; a report shall be issued to the student who is to take the test or the comic test and cannot be evaluated in accordance with Section 1, stating, for each subject or overall assessment, the word "benefit (a) 'or other equivalent verbal assessment. At the request of the pupil, a test or a comic check shall be allowed before the certificate is issued and the evaluation shall be carried out on the basis of them.
Information on how to evaluate
The school director shall inform pupils and their legal representatives of the way in which the student's education results are assessed for the second half of the school year 2019 / 2020.
Efficacy
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
