DECLARATION
Industrial Property Office

amending the Federal Office of Inventions Decree No 550 / 1990 Coll., on the management of inventions and designs
The Industrial Property Office ("the Office ') provides pursuant to Article 88 of Act No. 527 / 1990 Coll., on inventions and improvements, as amended by Act No. 116 / 2000 Coll. and Act No. 207 / 2000 Coll., (" the Act'):
Decree No. 550 / 1990 Coll., on driving in matters of inventions and designs, is amended as follows:
1. Article 1 shall be deleted;
2. Paragraph 4 (2) is deleted and paragraph 1 is deleted.
3. In Article 11 (2), the words "and patent entitlement 'are deleted.
4. In Paragraph 13 (3), the word "due 'is inserted after the word" pay'.
5. in Article 16 (2), the following point (k) is inserted after point (j):
"(k) where appropriate, the grant of a supplementary protection certificate;"
Points (k) to (t) shall be renumbered as points (l) to (u).

(1) The applicant of an international application requesting the grant of a patent in the Czech Republic under an international contract shall submit to the Office, within 31 months of the onset of the right of priority, a triplicate translation of the patent into the Czech language and pay the relevant fees in accordance with a special regulation.
(2) If the applicant fulfils the conditions referred to in paragraph 1, the Office may, at the request of the applicant, initiate an international application procedure before the deadline referred to in paragraph 1. ';
7. Title 2, Sections 24 to 43 shall be deleted.
Transitional provision
The period of 31 months provided for in Paragraph 19 applies to all international applications in proceedings for which it did not expire at the date of entry into force of this Order.
Efficacy
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
