amending Decree No. 39 / 2005 Coll., laying down minimum requirements for study programmes to be qualified for the pursuit of an unmedical medical profession, as amended
The Ministry of Health, in an agreement with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, provides, pursuant to Section 90 (2) (d) of Act No. 96 / 2004 Coll., on the conditions for obtaining and recognising eligibility for the pursuit of non-medical health professions and for carrying out activities related to the provision of health care and on the amendment of certain related laws (Law on Non-medical Medical Professions), as amended by Act No. 105 / 2011 Coll., and under Section 38 (1) of Act No. 18 / 2004 Coll., on the recognition of professional qualifications and other competence of nationals of the Member States of the European Union and on the amendment of certain laws (Act on the recognition of professional qualifications), as amended by Act No. 189 / 2008 Coll.:
Decree No. 39 / 2005 Coll., laying down minimum requirements for study programmes to be qualified for the non-medical medical profession, as amended by Decree No. 129 / 2010 Coll., Decree No. 3 / 2016 Coll. and Decree No. 470 / 2017 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. footnote 2 shall read:
"2) § 79 (2) (f) of Act No. 111 / 1998 Coll., on Higher Education and on the amendment and addition of other laws (Act on Higher Education), as amended. Act No. 96 / 2004 Coll., on the conditions for obtaining and recognising eligibility for the pursuit of non-medical medical professions and for carrying out activities related to the provision of medical care and amending certain related laws (Act on non-medical medical professions), as amended. '
2. in Article 12 (4) (a) (2), "food" is replaced by "food" and "daily" is replaced by "normal."
3. In Article 21 (1), the words "accredited study programme 'are replaced by the words" accredited master study programme following an accredited bachelor study programme' and the words "carried out by a university 'and the last sentence is deleted.
4. In Paragraph 21 (2), the second sentence is deleted.
5. In Article 22 (1), the words "accredited study programme 'are replaced by the words" accredited Master study programme following the Bachelor's study programme' and the words "carried out by a university 'are deleted.
6. In Paragraph 22 (3), the first sentence is replaced by the sentence "Accredited study programmes referred to in paragraph 1 shall have a standard study period of at least 5 years. The accredited study programme referred to in paragraph 2 shall have a standard study period of at least 2 years. ';
7. In the title of Section 23, the words "and professional physiotherapist" are deleted.
8. Paragraph 23 (4) and (5) are deleted.
9. in Paragraph 27 (2) (b), including footnote 23:
"(b) in an accredited Master's study programme following an accredited Bachelor's or accredited Master's study programme in the field of education23):
1. Safety disciplines,
2. Biology, Ecology and the Environment,
3. Farmacia,
4. Physics,
5. Chemistry,
6. Food industry,
7. Veterinary medicine, veterinary hygiene,
8. General medicine and dental medicine, or
9. Medical fields;
at least 2 years, of which at least 500 hours of practical instruction; the number of hours of practical instruction and the requirements laid down in paragraph 3 may also be completed during the previous Bachelor's or Master's studies.

10. in Article 27 (3) (a) (2), "food" is replaced by "food" and "daily" is replaced by "normal."
11. in Article 36 (1), the words "or a blind and weak-sighted masseur in health" shall be inserted after the words "in health."
Efficacy
This Decree shall take effect on 1 July 2023.
