GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 23 April 2020
determining the price moratorium on rent from flats
The Government orders pursuant to § 9 (2) of Act No. 526 / 1990 Coll., on Prices, as amended:
For the purposes of this Regulation, exceptional measures in the event of an epidemic shall mean:
(a) a crisis measure under Section 2 (c) of the Crisis Act adopted by the Government of the Czech Republic at a time of emergency,
(b) an exceptional measure issued in 2020 by the Ministry of Health on the basis of Sections 69 (1), 69 (2) and 80 (1) (g) of the Act on the Protection of Public Health for the Protection of the Population and the Prevention of the Hazard of the Creating and Expanding Disease of COVID-19 caused by the new Coronavirus SARS CoV-2,
(c) an emergency measure issued in 2020 by the Regional Health Station on the basis of § 69 (1) (b), § 69 (2), § 82 (1) and § 82 (2) (m) of the Act on Public Health Protection to prevent the further spread of the disease of COVID-19 caused by the new Coronavirus SARS CoV-2.
For the period from the date of application of this Regulation until the date of expiry of the emergency measures in the event of an epidemic, rent from the apartment may not be increased.
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication.
