DECLARATION

amending Decree No 352 / 2004 Coll., on the operational and technical interconnection of the European rail system, as amended
The Ministry of Transport provides for the Act No. 266 / 1994 Coll., on Railways, as amended by Act No. 23 / 2000 Coll., Act No. 103 / 2004 Coll., Act No. 181 / 2006 Coll., Act No. 191 / 2006 Coll., Act No. 194 / 2010 Coll. and Act No. 134 / 2011 Coll.:
Decree No 352 / 2004 Coll., on the operational and technical interconnection of the European rail system, as amended by Decree No 377 / 2006 Coll. and Decree No 326 / 2011 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. At the end of footnote 1, the sentence "Commission Directive 2013 / 9 / EU of 11 March 2013 amending Annex III to Directive 2008 / 57 / EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the interoperability of the rail system within the Community 'is added.
2. The following Section 12a is inserted after Section 12:
Accessibility
(1) The infrastructure, rolling stock, track operation and organisation of rail transport and telematics for passenger transport include measures to prevent and eliminate barriers to access and access to transport services for disabled persons and persons with reduced mobility to transport services for passengers.
(2) The requirements referred to in paragraph 1 must be met for infrastructure and rolling stock subsystems in accordance with the technical specifications of interoperability in their design, construction, maintenance, renewal, upgrading and operation. In the case of the track operation and organisation subsystem, the requirements referred to in paragraph 1 shall be included in the internal rules of the railway operator and carrier. ';
Efficacy
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
