DECLARATION
Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs
of 2 January 1984
amending Decree No 57 / 1979 Coll., on compensation for the use of road motor vehicles on business trips
The Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs provides, pursuant to § 43 (1) of Act No. 133 / 1970 Coll., on the competence of federal ministries, in agreement with the participating central authorities and the Central Council of Trade Unions:
(1) The provisions of Sections 3, 4 and 8 of Decree No 57 / 1979 Coll., on compensation for the use of road motor vehicles on business trips, apply mutatis mutandis to the use of own truck and own bus on business trips.
(2) Own truck and own bus means a vehicle the holder of which, according to the technical certificate, is the worker or his wife.
Paragraph 5 (4) and § 6 (1) (1) (g) of Decree No 57 / 1979 Coll., on compensation for the use of road motor vehicles on business trips, apply mutatis mutandis to the use of a road motor vehicle powered by diesel.
Annexes 1 and 2 to Decree No 57 / 1979 Coll., on compensation for the use of road motor vehicles on business trips, as amended by Decree No 16 / 1982 Coll., are replaced by the text set out in Annexes No 1 and 2 thereto.
Decree No. 16 / 1982 Coll., amending Decree No. 57 / 1979 Coll., on Refunds for the Use of Road Motor Vehicles in Work, is hereby repealed.
The refund rates provided for in Annexes 1 and 2 to this Decree shall apply to road motor vehicles travelling on business days starting on 1 January 1984.
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.

(a) If the worker returns the block order for automotive petrol or diesel due to lower fuel consumption, the part of the refund due to column 6 shall be increased by the value of automotive petrol or diesel fuel according to the returned vouchers, up to 15% of the financial value of the consumption of automotive petrol or diesel calculated in accordance with column 5.
(b) If a worker uses a service vehicle mainly for urban transport of more than 50,000 inhabitants, the organisation may increase the part of the compensation provided for fuel consumption by means of a block order as described in column 5, taking into account the difficult operating conditions by up to 10%.
