THE LAW
of 16 April 2020
amending Act No. 39 / 2020 Coll., on Real Estate Intermediations and on Changes to Related Acts (Real Estate Intermediate Act)
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
In the first sentence of Section 25 (1) of the First Act No. 39 / 2020 Coll., on real estate intermediation and on the amendment of related laws (Real Estate Intermediation Act), "6 'is replaced by" 12'.
Transitional provisions
1. An entrepreneur who is a natural person who, after the effective date of this Act, begins the activity of real estate brokerage under Act No. 39 / 2020 Coll. and is entitled to provide such activity on the basis of a contract concluded in writing with a person who is a real estate agent only on behalf of such person or on his behalf with the unmistakable use of the commercial name or brand of such person, may provide real estate brokering on the basis of the trade of the reporting free "58. Purchase, sale, administration and maintenance of real estate ', but no more than 6 months from the date of entry into force of this Act. By the expiry of that period, its authorisation to provide real estate brokerage within that trade shall cease to exist.
2. A realtor providing real estate intermediation as referred to in point 1 shall not be entitled to provide custody of funds in order to ensure the performance of the real estate contract even under the conditions set out in § 4 (2) of Act No. 39 / 2020 Coll. In breach of this condition, an offence may be committed for which a fine may be imposed up to the above mentioned point (a) of Paragraph 21 (2) of that Law.
Efficacy
This Act shall take effect on the day following its publication.
