amending Act No. 6 / 2002 Coll., on Courts, Judges, Addresses and Government of the Courts and amending certain other laws (Law on Courts and Judges), as amended, and certain other laws
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
Amendment of the Law on Courts and Judges
Act No. 6 / 2002 Coll., on Courts, Judgments, Addresses and Government Administration of the Courts and on the amendment of certain other laws (Law on Courts and Judges), as amended by Act No. 151 / 2002 Coll., Act No. 228 / 2002 Coll., Act No. 7 / 2009 Coll., Act No. 349 / 2002 Coll., Act No. 192 / 2003 Coll., Act No. 221 / 2003 Coll., Act No. 184 / 2004 Coll., Act No. 264 / 2006 Coll., Act No. 267 / 2006 Coll., Act No. 262 / 2006 Coll.
1. In Section 102, the following paragraph 5 is added:
"(5) The term of office of the Presidents of the College of the Supreme Court and the Supreme Administrative Court shall be five years."
2. In Paragraph 108 (2), the words "and Vice-President of the Court 'are replaced by the words" Court, Vice-President of the Court and President of the College'.
Transitional provisions
1. The President of the College of the Supreme Court or the Supreme Administrative Court, who was appointed to office in 2009 and earlier, shall terminate his term of office within 1 year of the date of entry into force of this Law.
2. The President of the College of the Supreme Court or of the Supreme Administrative Court, appointed for office in 2010, shall expire two years after the date of entry into force of this Law.
3. The President of the College of the Supreme Court or the Supreme Administrative Court, appointed in 2011, shall terminate his term of office 3 years after the date of entry into force of this Law.
4. The President of the College of the Supreme Court or the Supreme Administrative Court, who was appointed to office in 2012, shall expire four years after the date of entry into force of this Law.
5. The President of the College of the Supreme Court or the Supreme Administrative Court, who was appointed to office in 2013 or 2014 before the date of entry into force of this Act, shall expire five years after the date of entry into force of this Act.
Amendment of the Salary Act
Act No. 236 / 1995 Coll., on the salary and other requirements associated with the function of representatives of state authority and of certain state bodies and judges and Members of the European Parliament, as amended by Act No. 138 / 1996 Coll., Act No. 287 / 1997 Coll., Act No. 155 / 2000 Coll., Act No. 26 / 2003 Coll., Act No. 427 / 2003 Coll., Act No. 49 / 2004 Coll., Act No. 359 / 2004 Coll., Act No. 626 / 2004 Coll., Act No. 127 / 2005 Coll., Act No. 361 / 2005 Coll., Act No. 388 / 2005 Coll., Act No. 49 / 2004 Coll.
1. In Section 17 of the introductory part of the provision, the words "valid for judges' shall be inserted after the word" base '.
2. In Paragraph 18 (1), the words "valid for judges' shall be added at the end of the text of point (a).
3. In Paragraph 18, the words "valid for judges' shall be added at the end of the text of paragraph 2.
Amendment to Act No. 314 / 2008 Coll.
In Article II of Act No 314 / 2008 Coll., amending Act No. 6 / 2002 Coll., on Judgments, Judgments, Addresses and Government Administration of Courts and amending certain other laws (Act on Judgments and Judgments), as amended, Act No. 150 / 2002 Coll., Administrative Rules, as amended, Act No. 7 / 2002 Coll., on Proceedings in the Cases of Judges and Public Prosecutor, as amended, Act No. 349 / 1999 Coll., on the Ombudsman, as amended, Act No. 283 / 1993 Coll., as amended, Act No. 294 / 1990 Coll., on Transfers, as amended, Act No. 200 / 1990 Coll.
"11. The term of office of the President of the Supreme Court, appointed before 1 October 2008, shall expire on the date on which the term of office of the President of the Supreme Administrative Court ends in accordance with Part Two, Article IV of this Law. '.
EFFECTIVE
That law shall take effect on the first day of the second calendar month following its publication, except for Part Three, which shall take effect on the day of its publication.
