of 18 January 2021
on the use of the Army of the Czech Republic for rescue work to protect the population and prevent the spread of the Coronavirus SARS CoV-2 consisting of synergies in the construction of the Large Capacity Vaccination Centre and its partial operation
The Government orders pursuant to Sections 14 (3) and 15 of Act No. 219 / 1999 Coll., on the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic, as amended by Act No. 546 / 2005 Coll. and Act No. 46 / 2016 Coll.:
In order to protect the population and prevent the spread of the Coronavirus SARS CoV-2, a maximum of 500 soldiers in active service are called to assist the Central Military Hospital - Military Faculty Hospital Prague, p.o., in the framework of the enhancement of vaccination capacities in the management of the epidemic, in order to build a Large Capacity Vaccination Centre and its partial service, including the provision of health services.
The Minister of Defence shall designate troops in active service, including military equipment, to carry out the tasks referred to in Section 1.
Efficacy
(1) This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication.
(2) This Regulation shall expire on 31 December 2021.
