THE LAW
of 12 January 2000
amending certain laws in connection with the adoption of the Ombudsman Act
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
Amendment to the Constitutional Court Act
Act No. 182 / 1993 Coll., on the Constitutional Court, as amended by Act No. 331 / 1993 Coll., Act No. 236 / 1995 Coll. and Act No. 77 / 1998 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. In Paragraph 64 (2), the dot at the end of point (e) is replaced by a comma and the following point (f) is added:
"(f) The Ombudsman."
2. In Paragraph 69, the present text becomes paragraph 1 and the following paragraph 2 is added:
"(2) The Judge-Rapporteur shall immediately send the application to initiate the procedure referred to in Article 87 (1) (b). (b) the Constitution shall also inform the Ombudsman, in so far as this is not his proposal, which may inform the Constitutional Court within 10 days of the receipt of the application that he is entering the proceedings; If they do so, they shall have the status of interveners. ';
Amendment of the Act on the organisation and implementation of social security
Act No. 582 / 1991 Coll., on the organisation and implementation of social security, as amended by Act No. 590 / 1992 Coll., Act No. 37 / 1993 Coll., Act No. 160 / 1993 Coll., Act No. 307 / 1993 Coll., Act No. 241 / 1994 Coll., Act No. 118 / 1995 Coll., Act No. 160 / 1995 Coll., Act No. 134 / 1997 Coll., Act No. 306 / 1997 Coll., Act No. 93 / 1998 Coll., Act No. 225 / 1999 Coll., Act No. 356 / 1999 Coll., and Act No. 360 / 1999 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. In Paragraph 18 (1), the dot at the end of point (o) is replaced by a comma and the following point (p) is added:
"(p) The Ombudsman and the Ombudsman's representative shall be carried out by the Ombudsman's Office."
2. In Paragraph 36, at the end of point (u), the dot is replaced by a comma and the following point (v) is added:
"(v) The Ombudsman and the Ombudsman's representative, Office of the Ombudsman."
Amendment of the Social Security Insurance Act and contribution to the State Employment Policy
In Article 3 (1) (c) (8) of Act No 589 / 1992 Coll., on social security contributions and contributions to state employment policy, as amended by Act No 160 / 1995 Coll., the words "the Ombudsman, the representative of the Ombudsman 'shall be inserted after the word" the Office'.
Amendment to the Pension Insurance Act
In Article 5 (1) (i) of Act No. 155 / 1995 Coll., on Pension Insurance, the words ", the Ombudsman, the representative of the Ombudsman 'are inserted after the word" the Office'.
Amendment to the Public Health Insurance Act
In Article 5 (a) (9) of Act No. 48 / 1997 Coll., on Public Health Insurance and on the amendment and addition of certain related laws, the words ", the Ombudsman, the representative of the Ombudsman 'shall be inserted after the word" the Office'.
EFFECTIVE
This Act takes effect on the date of the entry into force of Act No. 349 / 1999 Coll., on the Ombudsman.
