DECLARATION
of 19 August 2014
amending Decree No. 177 / 2009 Coll., on the Closer Conditions for Termination of Education in Secondary Schools by Graduate Examination, as amended
The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports provides pursuant to Sections 81 (11), 91 (1) and 113a (2) of Act No. 561 / 2004 Coll., on Pre-School, Basic, Medium, Higher Vocational and Other Education (Education Act), as amended by Act No. 242 / 2008 Coll., Act No. 49 / 2009 Coll., Act No. 472 / 2011 Coll. and Act No. 370 / 2012 Coll.:
Decree No. 177 / 2009 Coll., on the Closer Conditions for Termination of Education in Secondary Schools, as amended by Decree No. 90 / 2010 Coll., Decree No. 274 / 2010 Coll., Decree No. 54 / 2011 Coll., Decree No. 273 / 2011 Coll. and Decree No. 371 / 2012 Coll., are amended as follows:
1. In Paragraph 2 (3), "31 December 'is replaced by" 15 January'.
2. In Paragraph 5 (4), "two 'is replaced by" four'.
3. In Paragraph 6 (2), "40 'is replaced by" 60'.
4. In Paragraph 11 (1), the word "week 'is deleted.
5. In Paragraph 16 (2), the second sentence is replaced by the following: "Preparation for oral examination takes 15 minutes. If the nature of the examination so requires, the school director may provide for an extension of the duration of preparation for oral examination, but for no more than 30 minutes. '
6. Paragraph 22 (3) reads as follows:
"(3) Written works from a foreign language will be received by the evaluator from the Centre; the evaluation shall be transmitted by the evaluator to the Centre through his information system at the deadlines set by the Centre. The Centre shall make the results of the School Director available in the spring examination period until the start of the oral examination of the common part in the relevant class, but not later than 29 May, and in the autumn examination period within 3 working days of the assembly of the evaluation of all written work from the foreign language of the pupils in the relevant class. ';
7. In Paragraph 22, the following paragraphs 4 and 5 are inserted after paragraph 3:
"(4) Written works from the Czech language and literature will be received by the evaluator from the school director and the evaluation will be forwarded to the school director; the evaluation shall be sent by the school director to the Centre in the spring test period before the start of the oral examination of the common part in the class concerned, but not later than 29 May, and in the autumn test period by 13 September.
(5) The school director shall notify the pupils of the results of the written work without undue delay. The dates of the opening of oral examinations in the relevant classes shall be communicated by the Director of the Centre through his information system before the start of written work. ';
Paragraph 4 shall become paragraph 6.
8. Paragraph 29 (3) reads as follows:
"(3) The report on the results of the common part of the pupil's graduation exam will be received by the student who applied for the exam and successfully completed the last year of education. The protocol shall be obtained either by the student in paper form from the school director or in a way that allows remote access on the basis of his request authorised in the Centre's information system. The report on the results of the common part of the pupil's graduation examination shall contain the date of issue. ';
9. Paragraph 47 (4) reads:
"(4) The remuneration referred to in paragraphs 1 to 3 shall be payable at regular intervals for the payment of a salary or salary for staff members in employment. ';
10. Paragraph 49 (8) is deleted.
Transitional provisions
1. The adaptation of the didactic test and the written work from the Czech language and literature of the pupil-foreigners according to § 5 (4) of Decree No. 177 / 2009 Coll., as effective from the date of entry into force of this decree, is first admitted for the performance of the graduation exam in the spring trial period of 2015.
2. The school list of literary works established by the school director pursuant to § 6 (2) of Decree No. 177 / 2009 Coll., as effective from the date of entry into force of this decree, shall be used for the first time for the partial oral examination of the Czech language and literature held in the spring trial period of 2015.
Efficacy
This Decision shall enter into force on 1 September 2014.
