amending and supplementing Decree No. 46 / 1966 Coll., on measures against communicable diseases
The Ministry of Health of the Czech Socialist Republic and the Ministry of Justice of the Czech Socialist Republic provide, pursuant to § 70 paragraph 1 in relation to § 71 paragraph 2 of Act No. 20 / 1966 Coll., on the care of the health of the people, and § 195 of the Criminal Act No. 140 / 1961 Coll.:
Čl. I
Decree of the Ministry of Health and Justice No. 46 / 1966 Coll., on measures against communicable diseases, is amended as follows:
Article 1 (4) (2) reads as follows:
"(2) When entering a pioneer camp, a pre-school institution, a school in nature, a children's health facility or a children's hospital, and in cases determined by the epidemiological situation by the health service authorities, the parents or other persons in charge of the children are required to submit a written declaration that the district hygienist or treating doctor has not ordered the children to take quarantine measures and that they are not aware that in the last week the children have come into contact with persons who have had a communicable disease. The model of the written declaration is in Annex 2 to this order. '
2. Article 6 (1) (a) and (b) reads as follows:
"(a) regular vaccination against tuberculosis, diphtheria, tetanus, cough, smallpox, communicable polio, measles and possibly other communicable diseases, which according to current scientific knowledge are defined by the chief hygienist of the Czech Socialist Republic (§ 8 to 11),
(b) specific vaccination against tuberculosis, smallpox and tetanus (Sections 12 and 13); '
3. Article 8 (2) reads as follows:
"(2) The re-vaccination against tuberculosis shall be carried out if necessary according to the results of the tests carried out, in the first and eighth years of compulsory education and in the calendar year in which the citizen reaches the eighteenth year of life, and in the epidemiological situation also in the fifth year of compulsory education and in the calendar year in which the citizen reaches the 25th and 30th years of life. ';
4. Article 10 (1) reads as follows:
"(1) The primary vaccination against smallpox shall be carried out between the sixth and 18th months of life. '
5. The following Section 11a is inserted after Section 11:
„§ 11a
The primary measles vaccination shall be carried out with a live vaccine, first on the first day of the thirteenth month of the child's life. '

„§ 12
For persons who, in their compulsory activity, are exposed to an increased risk of tuberculosis, smallpox and tetanus, re-vaccination shall be carried out, or primary vaccination shall be initiated or carried out against those diseases before such activity begins. They shall be re-vaccinated against tetanus within 10 years and against smallpox within three years; re-vaccination against tuberculosis shall be carried out if necessary. ';
7. In Article 13 (1), parts of this paragraph concerning specific vaccination against abdominal typhoid, parathyroid and tularemia are deleted.
8. Article 16, including the title, reads:
„§ 16
Vaccination in accidents, injuries and non-healing wounds
For injuries, injuries, leg ulcers and other non-healing wounds where there is a risk of tetanus disease, vaccination against the disease shall be carried out; when bitten by a suspicious animal, it is vaccinated against rabies. These vaccinations shall be carried out as part of preventive care in accordance with the specific instructions of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic. '
9. Paragraph 26 (2) reads as follows:
"(2) During medical examinations, a detailed clinical and anamnestic examination shall be carried out, in particular with regard to tuberculosis. A detailed microbiological examination shall also be carried out for workers to be active in the food industry, water treatment plants, water treatment plants and the manufacture of medicinal products, in view of the possible delivery of the seeds of the typhoid and parathyroid species. '
10. In Section 36, in the part of the first sentence after the semicolon, the words "their protective vaccination 'are replaced by the words" the necessary measures against the spread of communicable diseases' and the words "and then within the time limits' are deleted.
11. Paragraph 39 (1) reads as follows:
"(1) The protective disinsectisation shall be carried out as necessary in all establishments, facilities and public premises as well as in individual houses and apartments. '
12. Article 40 (2) reads as follows:
"(2) If this is justified by the presence of rodents, it shall be carried out in accordance with the regulations of the national committee, as a rule on a proposal from the county hygienist, in bulk protective exertation in the territory of a part or the whole municipality. '
13. Paragraph 41 (1) reads as follows:
"(1) The health services authorities shall, on professional issues, direct the activities of organisations carrying out protective disinfection, disinsecting and exerting, supervise compliance with the technical standards and working practices approved by the health services authorities and the effectiveness of the work carried out, and impose measures to remedy the deficiencies identified. ';
14. Paragraph 48 (2) reads as follows:
"(2) The quarantine is that persons suspected of being infected are separated from others and are examined and observed by a doctor; it shall be carried out in apartments, institutes, establishments and all other places where this is necessary in order to combat communicable diseases, or, where appropriate, in facilities specifically established or designated by a plan of measures for the occurrence of quarantine diseases. ';
15. In Paragraph 49, in paragraph 2, the word "ordering 'is replaced by" may order' and in paragraph 3, the word "subjecting 'is replaced by the word" may subjecting'.
16. The Annex to the Order shall be renumbered Annex 1 and amended as follows:
(a) Part I, point (a) A is added to the following communicable diseases subject to the measures laid down in the Order:
"73. lambliasis (Lambliasis, Giardiasis)
74. Acute Diarrhoea of Unknown Origin
75 July (Erysipeloid)
76. Roses (Erysipelas)
77. gas-fired ganggraena
78th rhinosclerom (Rhinoscleroma)
79. vaccination (Vaccinium)
80. shingles (Herpes zoster)
81. trypanosomiasis (Trypanosomiasis)
82nd tapeworm (Taeniasis, Hymenolepidosis)
83rd strongyloidosis (Strongyloidosis)
84. trichiuriasis (Trichiuriasis)
85. trichomoniasis (Trichomoniasis urogenitalis)
86. geratoconjunctivitis epidemic (Keratoconiunctivitis epidemiica)
87. Conjunctivitis Infectiosa
88. Mastitis (Mastitis)
89.
90. staph disease of newborns
91. purulenta meningitis'.
(b) Part I (b) B the diseases listed under Nos 8, 10, 12, 16 and 17 are released.
(c) Part II, point (c) The following diseases are added, in which the treating physician may authorise domestic isolation:
"24. lambliasis (Lambliasis, Giardiasis)
25. acute diarrhoea disease of unknown origin
26. rose (Erysipelas)
27th Greasy Gangraena
28. rhinosclerom (Rhinoscleroma)
29. vaccination (Vaccinium)
30. trypanosomiasis (Trypanosomiasis)
31. tapeworms (Taeniasis, Hymenolepidosis)
32. strongyloidosis (Strongyloidosis)
33rd gouges (Enterobiosis, Oxyuriasis)
34. encephalitis after vaccination (Encephalitis post vacinetione) '.
(d) Part II, point (d) B is added to the following diseases where the treating physician may waive isolation:
"July 15 (Erysipeloid)
16. shingles (Herpes zoster)
17. impetigo (Impetigo contagiosa)
18.
19. Conjunctivitis infectiosa
20. mastitis (Mastitis)
21. Trichiuriasis (Trichiuriasis)
22. trichomoniasis (Trichomoniasis urogenitalis) '.

Čl. III
This Decree shall take effect on 1 April 1973.
