GOVERNMENT REGULATION

amending Government Regulation No. 31 / 2010 Coll., on specialisation training fields and the qualification of healthcare professionals with specialised competence
The Government hereby orders pursuant to Paragraph 90 (1) of Act No. 96 / 2004 Coll., on the conditions for obtaining and recognising eligibility for the pursuit of non-medical medical professions and for carrying out activities related to the provision of medical care and on the amendment of certain related laws (Act on non-medical medical medical professions), as amended by Act No. 189 / 2008 Coll. and Act No. 201 / 2017 Coll.:
Government Decree No. 31 / 2010 Coll., on specialisation training and professional qualification of healthcare professionals with specialised competence, is amended as follows:
1. Paragraph 1 (2) reads as follows:
"(2) The transfer of specialties pursuant to Decree No. 77 / 1981 Coll., on health professionals and other health professionals, and under Government Decree No. 463 / 2004 Coll., laying down specialisation training and qualification of medical professionals with specialised competence, on specialisation training and specialisation of specialists is set out in Annex 2 to this Regulation. '
2. In Annex 1, entry 1, including the title, reads:

4. In Annex 1, item 2, point 2, the words "in gynecology and obstetrics' are deleted.
5. In Annex No 1, entry 2, the following point 4 is added:

13. In Annex 1, entry 15, point 4 is deleted.
Points 5 to 10 shall be renumbered 4 to 9.
14. In Annex 1, item 16 (2), the words "Clinical Engineer for Perfusiology 'are replaced by the words" Perfusiologist'.
15. In Annex 1, the following entries 20 and 21 are added:

16. The title of Annex No 2 shall read as follows: "TRANSFER OF SPECIFICATIONS UNDER SECOND LEGISLATION ON SPECIALISM TRAINING AND MARKING OF SPECIALISTS '.
17. In Annex 2, in the title of the fourth column of the table, the words "to this Regulation 'are replaced by the words" to Government Regulation No 31 / 2010 Coll., as effective before the date of entry into force of Government Regulation No 164 / 2018 Coll.'.
18. In Annex No 2, in the title of the fifth column of the table, the words "to this Regulation 'are replaced by the words" to Government Regulation No 31 / 2010 Coll., as effective before the date of entry into force of Government Regulation No 164 / 2018 Coll.'.
Transitional provisions
1. Specialised competence acquired by study in specialisation education of nursing care in pediatrics, community nursing care, gynecology and obstetrics, sexology and assisted reproduction, orthodontics, adult nutrition, infant nutrition, clinical technology, nuclear medicine, physiotherapy in neurology, physiotherapy in internal medicine, physiotherapy in surgical fields and trauma and physiotherapy in neonatology and pediatrics provided for by Government Regulation No 31 / 2010 Coll., as effective before the date of application of this regulation, remains unaffected.
2. For specialised education in the fields of community nursing care, perioperative care in gynaecology and obstetrics, sexology and assisted reproduction, orthodontics, adult nutrition, children's nutrition, clinical technique, nuclear medicine, physiotherapy in neurology, physiotherapy in internal medicine, physiotherapy in surgical fields and trauma, or in the field of physiotherapy in neonatology and pediatrics provided for by Government Regulation No 31 / 2010 Coll., as effective before the date of entry into force of this regulation of the Government, only applicants applying for inclusion in specialised education before the date of entry into force of this regulation of the Government. A candidate who has been included in the field of specialisation training according to the first sentence and has started his studies before the date of entry into force of this regulation of the Government shall complete the specialisation training in that field provided for by Government Decree No. 31 / 2010 Coll., as effective before the date of entry into force of this regulation of the Government.
3. A medical professional who has acquired a specialised competence in perfusiology with the designation of a specialist nurse for clinical perfusiology, a clinical technique for perfusiology or a clinical engineer for perfusiology provided for by Government Decree No. 31 / 2010 Coll., as effective before the date of entry into force of this regulation of the Government, shall be considered as a medical professional with a specialised competence in perfusiology with the designation of a specialist perfusiologist under Government Decree No. 31 / 2010 Coll., as effective from the date of entry into force of this regulation of the Government.
4. A medical professional who has acquired specialised competence in the field of surgical care in gynecology and obstetrics with a designation of expertise as a specialist midwife for surgical care provided for by Government Regulation No. 31 / 2010 Coll., as effective before the date of entry into force of this regulation, shall be considered as a medical professional with specialised competence in the field of surgical care designated as a specialist midwife for surgical care under Government Regulation No. 31 / 2010 Coll., as effective from the date of entry into force of this regulation.
Efficacy
This Regulation shall take effect on 1 September 2018.
