DECLARATION
of 5 June 2023
on the charging of the carbon dioxide charge in natural rock structures
According to § 14 (7) of Act No. 85 / 2012 Coll., on the storage of carbon dioxide in natural rock structures and on the amendment of certain laws, the Czech Mining Authority provides for:
Subject matter
This decree sets out the form and structure of the fee allocation for the carbon dioxide charge into natural rock structures, including the prescribed data.
Determination of the form and structure of the fee return
The submission made by the data report shall be in the pdf format and in the structure set out in the annex to this decree.
Form of the fee declaration
According to Article 14 (1) of the Act on the storage of carbon dioxide into natural rock structures (hereinafter referred to as "the Act '), the taxpayer submits a single fee return for the fee for the storage of carbon dioxide into natural rock structures for all carbon dioxide storage operations operated by it within the territorial scope of a single fee administrator responsible locally under Article 14 (9) of the Act, using the form of this fee return, the model of which is set out in the Annex to this Decree.
Structure and prescribed fee returns
The fee admission to the carbon dioxide charge for natural rock structures includes:
(a) the tax payer's identification data, which are the company or name, if it is a legal person, or the name, if it is an operating natural person, the registered office or residence of the person, the person's identification number, the tax payer's data box, the telephone number for the public mobile telephone network, the e-mail address, the bank account number and the bank code of the payer's bank;
(b) the designation of the carbon dioxide storage site referred to in the authorisation to store carbon dioxide in natural rock structures;
(c) the designation of the individual incorporation devices listed in the permit for the storage of carbon dioxide in natural rock structures;
(d) the quantity of carbon dioxide stored in storage during the applicable fee period for each insertion device separately;
(e) the calculation and the amount of the fee for the storage of carbon dioxide in natural rock structures for stored carbon dioxide;
(f) the name and identification number of the municipality in whose cadastral territory the establishment is situated;
(g) name, telephone number for the public mobile telephone network and e-mail address of the person who compiled the fee return;
(h) the name of the person authorised to sign for the payer and his relationship with the payer;
(i) a statement by the taxpayer on the accuracy and completeness of the data; and
(j) the date and signature of the payer or the person authorised to sign the payer.
Efficacy
This Decree shall take effect on 1 July 2023.
