Communication from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the negotiation of the Arrangement between the Government of the Czech Republic and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany on the establishment of hiking trails

Ministry of Foreign Affairs
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs states that in exchange for a note of 16 and 29 February 1996 in Bonn and Prague, the Agreement between the Government of the Czech Republic and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany on the establishment of hiking trails was negotiated.
This arrangement was negotiated on the basis of Article 3 (1) of the Agreement between the Government of the Czech Republic and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany on small border traffic on tourist routes and in tourist zones and on the crossing of national borders in special cases of 3 November 1994, published under No 237 / 1994 Coll.
The Arrangement entered into force on 29 February 1996.
The Czech version of the Czech note and the translation of the German note are announced simultaneously.

VERBAL NOTE
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has the honour of proposing to the Embassy of the Czech Republic the conclusion of an Arrangement between the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Government of the Czech Republic on the establishment of hiking trails, which has the following wording:
The Government of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Government of the Czech Republic negotiate on the basis of Article 3 (1) of the Agreement of 3 November 1994 between the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Government of the Czech Republic on small border traffic on tourist routes and in tourist zones, as well as crossing national borders in specific cases of extension of the scope of operation of already existing tourist paths, as well as changing opening times.
1. Extension of the scope of operation
The scope of operation of the following tourist paths, which have been opened since 1 January 1995, will be extended as follows with effect from 1 March 1996:

od 08.00 hod. do 18.00 hod.
v době od1. října do 31. března.
In the event that the Government of the Czech Republic agrees with the proposals of the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany, this verbal note and the consent of the Government of the Czech Republic will form the responsibility note of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Arrangement between the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Government of the Czech Republic, which will enter into force with the date of the relevant note and will remain in force for the same period as the Agreement.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs uses this opportunity to reassure the Czech Embassy of its deep respect.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic has the honour to state that the Government of the Czech Republic agrees with the proposals of the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany. Accordingly, the notice of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany and this note of the Arrangement between the Government of the Czech Republic and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany on the establishment of hiking trails, which will enter into force on 29 February 1996 and will be valid for the duration of the Agreement.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic uses this opportunity to reassure the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany with its profound respect.
