DECLARATION
of 19 April 2006
amending Decree No 380 / 2003 Coll., on animal health requirements governing trade in semen, ova and embryos and on animal health conditions governing their importation from third countries
The Ministry of Agriculture provides pursuant to Section 78 of Act No. 166 / 1999 Coll., on Veterinary Care and on the amendment of certain related laws (Veterinary Act), as amended by Act No. 131 / 2003 Coll., Act No. 316 / 2004 Coll. and Act No. 48 / 2006 Coll., ("the Act ') for the implementation of Sections 31 (3) (a) and 34 (5) of the Act:
Decree No 380 / 2003 Coll., on animal health requirements governing trade in semen, ova and embryos and on animal health conditions governing their importation from third countries, shall be amended as follows:
1. The heading above Section 11 is deleted.
2. Article 11 shall be deleted;
3. In Article 14 (2), the word "recipient 'is replaced by" donor' and the words "Article 11 'are replaced by" Article 6'.
4. In Article 15 (2) (b), footnote 2 is replaced by footnote 3.
5. in Article 17 (2), the following point (b) is inserted after point (a):
"(b) comply with the requirements laid down by the Commission for imports of embryos from the third country concerned;"
Point (b) shall be renumbered (c).
6. In Section 25, the words "Section 11 'are replaced by the words" Section 14'.
7. In Article 27 (2), the words "in the necessary assistance and 'shall be inserted after the words" in particular'.
8. footnote 5 reads:
"5) Decree No. 376 / 2003 Coll., concerning veterinary checks on imports and transit of products from third countries, as amended by Decree No. 259 / 2005 Coll. Decree No 377 / 2003 Coll., on veterinary checks on imports and transit of animals from third countries, as amended by Decree No 259 / 2005 Coll. '.
9. In Annex 1, Part A, the words "Insemination centres shall: 'in point (b) (i), the word" isolation' shall be replaced by the word "quarantine '.
10. In Annex 1, Part A, the words "Insemination centres shall: 'in point (e), the word" isolation' shall be replaced by the word "quarantine '.
11. In Annex No 1, Part A, the words "The semen bank must be read as follows: 'in point (a), the words" semen collection centre' are replaced by the words "semen bank '.
12. In Annex No 1, Part A, "The semen bank must be: 'in point (c), the words" the establishment and storage facilities for the collection, treatment and storage of the semen were easy to clean and disinfect' are replaced by the words "the semen storage facilities were easy to clean and disinfect '.
13. In Annex No 1, Part B, the words "In semen collection centres, the following shall be added: 'in point (a), the word" economic' shall be deleted.
14. In Annex No 1, Part B, as indicated in the words "In semen collection centres, the words" checks on animal diseases' shall be replaced by the words "veterinary tests carried out 'and the words" containing data on diseases, treatment and health of each animal' shall be deleted.
15. In Annex No 1, Part B, as indicated in the words "In semen collection centres, the words" prevent 'shall be replaced by the words "it has been established whether conditions for prevention are created'.
16. In Annex No 1, Part B, the words "In semen collection centres shall read: 'in point (f) (i), the words" in the station' are replaced by the words "in approved semen collection centres'.
17. In Annex No 1, Part B, the words "In semen collection centres, the following shall be added: 'in point (f) (ii), the word" places' is replaced by the word "premises'.
18. In Annex No 1, Part B, the words "In semen collection centres, the following shall be added: 'in point (f) (vi), the words" semen collection centre' shall be deleted; each Member State shall inform the Commission and the other Member States of the manner and type of labelling used in its territory. ';
19. The following point (vii) is inserted after point (vi) of Annex 1 to Part B, stating "In the semen collection centres: ':
"(vii) each single dose of semen must be clearly marked in such a way that the date of collection of the semen, the breed, the marking of the animal (6) is easily and quickly ascertained - the donor and the veterinary approval number of the semen collection centre. Each Member State shall inform the Commission and the other Member States of the manner and type of labelling used in its territory;
6) Article 22 (1) of Act No 154 / 2000 Coll., on the breeding, breeding and registration of livestock and on the amendment of certain related laws (Breeding Act), as amended. "
20. In Annex No 1, Part B, the words "In semen collection centres shall be read as follows: 'in point (f) (viii), the word" Storage' shall be replaced by "Storage '.
21. In Annex No 1, Part B, the words "In the banks of semen must read: 'in point (e) (ii), the words" semen banks' are replaced by the words "premises'.
22. In Annex No 1, Part B, "In the banks of semen, the words" clearly marked in (vi) (e) 'shall be replaced by "marked in such a way as to be easily and quickly ascertained', the word" breeding 'shall be replaced by the word "breed', the word" animal 'shall be replaced by the word "animal (6)' and the words" type and form of labelling 'shall be replaced by the words "method and type of marking'.
23. In Annex No 2, Part A, the text "All bovine animals admitted to semen collection centres shall comply with the following requirements: 'shall refer to point 1.
24. In Annex No 2, Part A, point 1, in the introductory part of the provision, the word "stations' is replaced by" stations'.

57. In Annex No 10, Part I (c), in the table, the words "Address of the semen collection centre 'are replaced by the words" Address of the semen collection centre'.
Efficacy
This Decree shall take effect on 1 May 2006.
