ORDER
GOVERNMENTS OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC
of 30 March 2020
on the adoption of crisis measures
Following the Government Resolution 194 of 12 March 2020, in accordance with Articles 5 and 6 of Constitutional Act No. 110 / 1998 Coll., on the Security of the Czech Republic, the Government declared emergency status for the territory of the Czech Republic because of a health threat related to the detection of coronavirus / referred to as SARS CoV-2 / in the territory of the Czech Republic and, within the meaning of § 5 (a) to (e) and § 6 of the Act No. 240 / 2000 Coll., on crisis management and on the amendment of certain laws (Crisis Act), as amended, for the resolution of the situation arising, the adoption of crisis measures, by virtue of § 6 (2) (d) of the Crisis Act.
Government
I. orders, with effect from 30 March 2020 at 18.00, the deployment of soldiers in active duty of 300 persons and the related necessary techniques to implement crisis measures, in order to provide support and synergies to public health authorities in the performance of tasks to eliminate the new Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2;
II. Saves
1. to the Minister for Health to organise cooperation between public health authorities and soldiers under point I. of this resolution,
2. the Minister of Defence to ensure the deployment of troops in active service with the technology referred to in paragraph I. of this resolution.
