GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 22 May 2024
on the conditions for the application of the special rights of a vulnerable customer
The Government orders pursuant to Paragraph 29 (8) of Act No. 458 / 2000 Coll., on the Terms and Conditions of Business and on the Enforcement of State Administration in the Energy Sector and on the Amendment of Certain Laws, as amended by Act No. 469 / 2023 Coll.:
Subject matter
This Regulation lays down:
(a) therapy and compensation facilities;
(b) a model for the confirmation of compliance with the conditions for granting the special rights of a vulnerable customer (hereinafter referred to as "the certificate") and its duration;
(c) a model of the written agreement on the exercise of the rights and obligations of the vulnerable person through the customer.
Therapy and disease compensation
The therapy and compensation facilities are set out in Annex 1 to this Regulation.
Model of certificate and its duration
(1) The model of the certificate is set out in Annex 2 to this Regulation.
(2) The certificate shall be valid for a period of 2 years from the date of its completion or for a shorter period, if the doctor so determines on the basis of the state of health of the vulnerable person.
Model of written agreement on the exercise of the rights and obligations of a vulnerable person through a client
The model of the written agreement on the exercise of the rights and obligations of the vulnerable person through the client is set out in Annex 3 to this Regulation.
Efficacy
This Regulation shall take effect on 1 July 2024.

INSTALLATIONS FOR TERAPY AND ENVIRONMENTAL COMPENSATION
The means to treat or compensate for diseases are
(a) active medical devices for domestic pulmonary ventilation or oxygenotherapy;
(b) active anti-decubite mattresses;
(c) active medical devices to treat sleep apnea;
(d) active medical devices for domestic haemodialysis treatment;
(e) active medical devices for domestic tracheostomic care.
