of 23 April 1993
determining the remuneration of a foster parent in the performance of foster care in special establishments
According to § 22 of Act No. 50 / 1973 Coll., on foster care, as amended by Act No. 58 / 1984 Coll. and Act No. 118 / 1992 Coll. (full version No. 452 / 1992 Coll.):
(1) A foster parent who carries out foster care in special establishments, (1) The district office provides a remuneration for the performance of foster care and for the work related to the care of the entrusted children (hereinafter referred to as "remuneration") of 2.4 times the amount required under the Special Act to ensure nutrition and other essential personal needs (hereinafter referred to as "personal needs") by a foster parent monthly in the care of one to four children. If a foster parent pays more than four children, the remuneration in the care of each additional child increases by 0.6 times the amount for the personal needs of a foster parent per month. If, due to disability or disturbed social development, the child requires exceptional individual care, the district office shall increase the remuneration by 0.3 times the amount for the personal needs of the foster child for each such child.
(2) Where foster parents are jointly appointed, the district office shall determine the remuneration for each of them separately, in such a way that the total remuneration of the two spouses does not exceed the total remuneration fixed in accordance with paragraph 1.
(3) The remuneration shall be granted to the foster parent for as long as he is in foster care in special establishments. The remuneration shall be paid for the period of incapacity for work but shall not exceed one month. After the end of incapacity for work, the proportion of monthly remuneration shall be set at one-thirtieth per calendar day.
(4) The remuneration shall be paid monthly in advance of the payment dates set for the county staff.
(5) If there has been a change in the number of children in a special establishment during the month, a remuneration shall be granted for that month, based on a higher number of children; where the remuneration of a foster parent is increased in full in accordance with the last sentence of paragraph 1, even if the conditions are met only for part of the month.
The remuneration under this decree shall be granted for the first time in May 1993.
The Order of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of the Czech Socialist Republic No. 52 / 1973 Coll., implementing certain provisions of the law on foster care, as amended by Decree No. 98 / 1980 Coll., Decree No. 77 / 1984 Coll. and Decree No. 546 / 1991 Coll.
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
