GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 2 April 2008
amending Government Regulation No 565 / 2006 Coll., on pay ratios for professional soldiers, as amended by Government Regulation No 336 / 2007 Coll.
The Government mandates pursuant to § 23 (1) (b) to (e) of Act No. 143 / 1992 Coll., on the salary and remuneration of on-call time in budgetary and in certain other organisations and bodies, as amended by Act No. 40 / 1994 Coll., Act No. 217 / 2000 Coll. and Act No. 626 / 2004 Coll.:
In Government Decree No. 565 / 2006 Coll., on the pay ratios of professional soldiers, as amended by Government Decree No. 336 / 2007 Coll., § 12 reads as follows:
A soldier who is seconded to a unit of multinational forces outside the Czech Republic is entitled to an additional fee
(a) of USD 700 to USD 4,000 per month; or
(b) up to two-and-a-half times the amounts referred to in (a) where the soldier is exposed to a high risk of life or health related to the conduct of combat activity in the area of operation;
if applicable, at an equivalent amount in euro, according to the conversion rate of the Czech National Bank, from the first day to the last day of service abroad. The amount of the surcharge within this margin shall be determined by the Minister for Defence. ';
Efficacy
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 May 2008.
