Act No 222 / 2016 Coll. provides the Ministry of the Interior in § 12 (9) for the processing of the Act for the purposes of publication and preparation and recording of structured data of the Act into the 30 calendar days collection. However, in the cases defined in Section 12 (8) of the Act, the Ministry of the Interior is required to declare the Act of the Collection of Laws and International Treaties earlier, usually on a date fixed by the person requesting its publication, when the condition of the existence of an overriding general interest is fulfilled (possibly when the other conditions foreseen in Section 12 (8) are fulfilled). In such cases, a legally binding act in PDF format should be published before the act is processed into a structured version (and all its time versions and the time versions of the amended legislation are created and all related metadata are provided). These structured data will be added to the collection after processing, with the usual processing period and data addition in such a situation being 15 working days from publication of the act. In the case of a large-scale act, its digitisation may require the full period of 30 calendar days available to the Ministry of the Interior for the publication of an act (Section 12 (9) of the Act).
