THE LAW
of 24 January 1997
on road safety and continuity
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
The Ministry of the Interior ("Ministry ') and the Police of the Czech Republic (" Police') perform government administration in matters of road safety and continuity.
(1) The supervision of the training and improvement of professional competence of military vehicle drivers, the keeping of records of military vehicles and the approval of their technical competence are governed by a special law. 12) Modification of the teaching and training of soldiers in active motor vehicle management, improvement of their professional competence and registration of drivers who are in active duty shall be provided for by the Ministry of Defence in agreement with the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
(2) Training and improvement of the professional competence of drivers of service vehicles The safety information services, the keeping of their records and the approval of the technical competence of service vehicles The security information services are governed by a special law. 13)
(3) The adaptation concerning the registration of vehicles by the police and the Ministry and the improvement of the competence of drivers of service vehicles by the police and the Ministry shall be determined by the Ministry.

This Act shall take effect on the day of its publication.
