DECLARATION
of 9 April 2010
on the protection of handicapped animals in breeding
According to Article 29 (1) of Act No. 246 / 1992 Coll., for the protection of animals against abuse, as amended by Act No. 312 / 2008 Coll., ("the Act '), the Ministry of Agriculture provides for the implementation of § 14b (4) of the Act:
Subject matter
This decree regulates the conditions for the breeding of handicapped animals, equipment and minimum size of areas for handicapped animals.
Terms
For the purposes of this decree:
(a) intensive care for the period during which a handicapped animal is given first aid or a handicapped animal must be artificially fed and watered for reasons of human life, for reasons of essential physiological needs, and must be handled with the handicapped animal, or medicated, treated, or post-operative, as instructed by the veterinarian; Intensive care is also considered to be an artificial breeding of male pups,
(b) rehabilitation of the period during which, after intensive care of the handicapped animal, it develops its normal movement activities;
(c) the adoption care of young animals carried out by a couple or a lone handicapped animal of the same or other species;
(d) breeding of pups for periods where they are already self-feeding and develop normal exercise activities, become independent and the birds grow feathers;
(e) preparation for the launch of a period where the handicapped animal is no longer suffering from clinical signs of injury or illness and where the disabled animal is gradually exposed to conditions similar to the wild, including the administration of live prey to predators,
(f) the long-term holding of a temporarily handicapped animal, the release of which is not possible under the Disabled Animal Regulation (1), is therefore not prepared for release, or the holding of a permanently handicapped animal, for a period of more than 3 months from the date of commencement of the care of the Disabled Animal, provided that the Disabled Animal is not in the period of care referred to in (a) to (e) or (g);
(g) by wintering the holding of a disabled animal during the winter period which replaces the handicapped animal for a stay in climatic conditions;
(h) separated space for handicapped animals, space connected by sliding doors to the main space and used for the closure of the disabled animal while working as a nurse in the main space;
(i) a winter compartment in which a different temperature is maintained in the winter compared to the outdoor environment, due to the needs of the species, age and health of the animal;
(j) a winter sleep (hibernation) specific reaction of certain mammals to the winter period, which, in their resting state and in the attenuation of all physiological processes, will survive adverse winter conditions.
Conditions for keeping handicapped animals
(1) A breeder who provides the necessary continuous care for handicapped animals must ensure conditions for the breeding of handicapped animals by:
(a) in the light of their injury, disease or other circumstances for which the handicapped animal is temporarily or permanently unable to survive in the wild (hereinafter referred to as "the disabled"), ensures the gentle capture and transport of the handicapped animals, if any;
(b) ensure that the environment and the farming method are adequate in nature to the handicap animal and allow the welfare of the handicapped animal to be maintained;
(c) provide freedom of movement for handicapped animals, taking into account the nature of their handicaps and natural needs, in accordance with experience and scientific knowledge so as not to expose them to unnecessary suffering;
(d) in preparation for the release of the handicapped animal into its natural environment, provide feeding with natural food, including the possibility of submitting live prey to predators;
(e) ensure, in intensive care for young birds, indoor space for handicapped animals at a temperature of 20 ° C to 35 ° C according to the species and age of the pups, or the use of an incubator;
(f) maintain a clean space for handicapped animals and their surroundings, taking into account the nature of the disability of the disabled animal and, in particular, the need for minimal contact with the disabled animal;
(g) it places separately handicapped animals which are characterised by persistent intolerance or are itself exposed to the persistent aggressive behaviour of other handicapped animals, or are at a stage of biological activity requiring separate placement, in particular heat, pregnancy or childbirth,
(h) ensure, at least once a day, a survey of the handicapped animals and technological equipment and remove any defect detected in the shortest possible time so as not to endanger the health and life of the disabled animals; has stable or mobile lighting available to enable the inspection to be carried out;
(i) ensure appropriate conditions and care for animals kept for their protection, well-being and health for use as live food according to the requirements of the species concerned;
(j) provide a separate space for handicapped animals, in particular for animals injured, sick, or suspected of being infected or infected, for young children not yet independent and for the reception of new handicapped animals (quarantine and isolation areas), where new animals are accepted.
(2) Disabled animals must not be kept in feed business premises, food business premises, agricultural production premises and zoos. Where facilities for the breeding of handicapped animals are in the same building as those for stray and abandoned dogs or cats or intended for breeding animals for business purposes, such facilities shall be separated from each other.
(3) Long-term breeding must be completed as soon as it is possible to prepare the animal for release or release when preparation for the release of the animal is not needed.
Equipment and minimum size of areas for handicapped animals
(1) In order to provide care for handicapped animals, it must be ensured that areas for handicapped animals
(a) are easily accessible, cleaned and disinfected;
(b) they correspond to their size and equipment to the needs of the handicapped animal and the species of the animal, the natural aggressiveness of animals living in pairs or groups;
(c) they are equipped with means which provide shelter for handicapped animals and allow natural activity and care for the body's surface with regard to the nature of their disability and prevent stereotypical behaviour; Rehabilitation, discharge preparation and long-term rearing facilities must provide sufficient incentives for handicapped animals to operate and give natural manifestations,
(d) materials and articles which are harmless, non-irritating to handicapped animals cannot be injured and do not disturb their well-being, but which at the same time allow regular cleaning and disinfection and resist normal climatic effects;
(e) correspond to the requirements of individual species of handicapped animals for temperature conditions;
(f) they have been sufficiently illuminated by daylight or artificial light in accordance with the biological characteristics of the animals, their fitness and health, and have been ventilated and without excessive moisture;
(g) have been equipped, according to the species of handicapped animals and the technology used, with tools and tools for catching and fixing the handicapped animals for first aid, rescue tools, equipment for transport including loading and unloading of the handicapped animals, transport boxes and disposable crates, as well as means for the immediate killing of the disabled animal if necessary;
(h) have been fenced if the establishment for the breeding of handicapped animals is not inside the building and has always been secured against the escape of the handicapped animals and against the penetration of other animals, in particular predators.
(2) In order to provide care for handicapped animals, it must be ensured that:
(a) the spatial conditions for artificial rearing of young feed birds correspond to the natural proportions of the nest;
(b) the spatial conditions for adoption care correspond to those of the long-term breeding of the adoptive parent;
(c) the temperature conditions for wintering handicapped animals correspond to those for wintering these species in the wild.
(3) The requirements for the size and fitting of the premises for selected species of handicapped animals are set out in Annex 1 to this Decree. For intensive care of selected handicapped animals, the minimum size of the space for the handicapped animals listed in Annex 1 to this Decree shall apply, unless the condition of the disabled animal requires an individual restriction of space. For permanently handicapped animals which cannot carry out all normal movement activities, the minimum size of the space for handicapped animals listed in Annex 1 to this Decree shall apply unless the size of the space for handicapped animals is individually limited on the basis of a written statement by a private veterinarian stating the reason for limiting the size of the space for handicapped animals and the required minimum size of the space for handicapped animals.
(4) Persistent handicapped animals which cannot carry out all normal movement activities and where the size of the space for handicapped animals has been individually limited on the basis of the written observations of a private veterinarian referred to in paragraph 3 shall have premises for handicapped animals which allow adequate movement due to the disability of a particular handicapped animal, natural rest and ensure adequate conditions for maintaining its physiological functions and ensuring its biological needs. In the case of continuously handicapped animals which are blind, the equipment of the premises for the handicapped animals and its location shall not be changed without justification.
Efficacy
This Decree shall take effect on the 15th day following the date of its publication, with the exception of the provisions of paragraphs 2 and 3 of Section 4, which shall take effect on 1 April 2013.

Requirements for size and equipment of premises for selected species of handicapped animals
1. Minimum size and equipment space for predators and owls
Category of predators and owls by size:
I, the eagle, the eagle, the great howler,

(a) for intensive care there shall be areas for handicapped animals of an area of 0,6 m2 and a height of 0,8 m, except for adult handicapped animals of category I, for which areas for handicapped animals of an area of 1 m2 shall be. In these areas, handicapped animals must be placed individually, except for pups,
(b) for the rehabilitation and rearing of young animals, the areas for handicapped animals of 12 m2 and 2 m high, the minimum length for the shortest wall is 2 m, for 1 to 2 handicapped animals of category I or 4 handicapped animals of category II, and for 6 m2 and 2 m high, the minimum length for the shortest wall is 1 m, for 1 to 2 handicapped animals of category II or 1 to 4 disabled animals of category III, according to tolerance, so as to avoid injury to the disabled animals and to damage the operation. If more handicapped animals are kept, the area shall be increased by 2 m2 for 1 predator or 1,2 m2 for 1 owl,
(c) for the preparation for release, there shall be spaces for the handicapped animals (the dismantling optional) of an area of 40 m2 and a height of 3 m, the minimum length of the shortest wall is 4 m, for category I species and 30 m2 and a height of 2,5 m, the minimum length of the shortest wall shall be 3 m, for category II and III species, with the exception of the release of the pups by free flight, where the discharge box, which means the discharge of the handicapped animal into the countryside, simulates the nest, allows visibility and feeding;
(d) for long-term breeding there shall be either streaks, which are the equipment used to seat a tethered predator, with a proletarian wire, which means a wire length of at least 3,5 m, stretched just above the ground, on which is a free-moving ring used to tie the predator and on which is a surface of 24 m2 and a height of 2,5 m, the minimum length of the shortest wall is 3 m, for eagles and eagles is 3 m, the surface of 18 m2 and the surface of 2.5 m, the minimum length of the shortest wall is 3 m, for a surface area of 15 m2 and a height of 2,5 m, the minimum length of the shortest wall is 2,5 m, for hawks and the shortest, the sea, the falloves, the terns, the terns, the terns, the terns, the termites, the terns, the termites, the terns, the terns, the terraces and the termast of the species of 1,5 m; These dimensions apply to 1 to 2 predators or 1 to 4 owls according to tolerability so as to avoid injury to animals and damage to feathering. (f) if the bathing of the handicapped animal is not restricted for health reasons, the areas for the handicapped animals must be equipped with a bathing tank;
(g) there must be a natural surface or bedding of natural material in the areas for handicapped animals;
(h) the areas for handicapped animals must be partially covered and shielded so that the handicapped animals can hide from adverse weather effects;
(i) visitors may have a maximum of 2 walls of space for handicapped animals.
2. Minimum size and equipment space for swans
(a) for intensive care of moving swans and rearing of pups, unless the condition of the pups requires an individual limitation of space, the areas for handicapped animals of 20 m2 for 1 to 4 handicapped animals, for each additional handicapped animal of 2 m2 in addition, for intensive care of immobile swans must be space for disabled animals of 2 m2 for 1 disabled animal,
(b) for rehabilitation, preparation for discharge and long-term breeding, an area of 60 m2 for 1 to 2 handicapped animals, for each additional handicapped animal 6 m2 additional,
(c) if the bathing of the handicapped animal is not restricted for health reasons, the areas for the handicapped animals must be equipped with a bathing tank;
(d) for rehabilitation and preparation for discharge, the premises shall be equipped with a bathing tank at a depth of at least 0,4 m and an area of 1,5 m2 for 1 handicapped animal, for each additional handicap animal 0,5 m2 extra;
(e) for long-term rearing, the enclosure shall be equipped with a bathing tank of at least 40 m2 for 1 to 2 handicapped animals, for each additional handicapped animal an additional 4 m2.
3. Minimum size and equipment space for brooding except small beech
(a) for intensive care there shall be spaces for handicapped animals with an area of 8 m2 and a height of 2 m, the minimum length of the shortest wall is 2 m. In these areas, handicapped animals must be placed individually, except for pups,
(b) for rehabilitation, breeding of pups, preparation for discharge, and long-term rearing must be spaces for handicapped animals with an area of 18 m2 and a height of 3 m, minimum length of the shortest wall is 3 m, for 1 to 4 handicapped animals according to tolerability, for each additional handicapped animal 2 m2 extra,
(c) for wintering there shall be spaces for handicapped animals with an area of 7 m2 and a height of 2,5 m, the minimum length of the shortest wall is 1,5 m, for 1 to 2 handicapped animals according to tolerability, for each additional handicapped animal 2 m2 extra;
(d) in areas for handicapped animals, in addition to areas for handicapped animals for intensive care, there shall be probes, natural branches or wooden rods of a diameter of about 3 to 6 cm, in areas for rehabilitation, rearing and long-term breeding in the number of 3 to 6 pieces, more for herrings and black storks;
(e) the areas for handicapped animals must be partially covered and shrouded so that the handicapped animals can hide from adverse weather effects;
(f) part of the surface of the area for handicapped animals shall be supported by natural material;
(g) the areas for handicapped animals shall be equipped with a bathing tank with a depth of not less than 0,3 m with a water inlet gradient of not more than 30 degrees and following on the anti-slip shore;
(h) there shall be at least 8 hours of daylight or adequate artificial lighting in the winter and shall be equipped with a bathing tank or bathing tank.
4. Minimum size and equipment for small and medium-sized singers, for climbers, cuckoo, gremlin, soft-beaded, turnip and quail
(a) for intensive care there shall be spaces for handicapped animals with an area of 0,15 m2 and a height of 0,25 m, the minimum length of the shortest wall shall be 0,3 m, for 1 to 4 pieces of small singers or 1 to 2 pieces of medium-sized singers, strakapoods and quails of field, and an area of 0,32 m2 and a height of 0,3 m, the minimum length of the shortest wall shall be 0,4 m, for 1 to 2 pieces of common cuckoo, pigeon, datals and yellow, for each additional handicapped animal 0,02 m2 in addition,
(b) for intensive care of the young rust fish, there shall be overshadowed areas for handicapped animals with a rough lining allowing the young to hold, with an area of 0,15 m2 and a height of 0,2 m, the minimum length of the shortest wall shall be 0,3 m, for 1 to 6 handicapped animals, for each additional disabled animal 0,01 m2 additional,
(c) for intensive care of adult rourines, the areas for handicapped animals with an area of 0,15 m2 and a height of 0,2 m, the minimum length of the shortest wall is 0,3 m, with one perpendicular wall with a rough surface allowing hanging of the bird in a vertical position, for 1 to 2 handicapped animals, for each additional handicapped animal 0,01 m2 additional,
(d) for rehabilitation, rearing of pups, preparation for release and long-term breeding, the areas for handicapped animals of an area of 8 m2 and 2 m high, the minimum length of the shortest wall is 1 m, for a maximum of 10 small or 6 medium-sized birds, for each additional handicapped animal of 0,08 m2 additional,
(e) for the preparation for the release of swallows, there shall be spaces for handicapped animals 4 m in length, with free space for launching;
(f) there must be barrels, natural branches or parts of wood in the bark in the areas for handicapped animals, at least one flexible (fixed only on one side, etc.). Part of the drums must always be in the shade or under the roof. For climbers vertical strains with bark shall be available,
(g) part of the surface area for handicapped animals shall be supported by natural material;
(h) the areas for handicapped animals must have at least one third of the ceiling fixed as wind protection;
(i) for adoption care, areas for handicapped animals must be equipped with nests adapted to individual bird species with sufficient building material;
(j) there shall be at least 8 hours of daylight or adequate artificial lighting in the winter area;
(k) for field quail, the areas for handicapped animals must be equipped with dry sand for ash,
(l) the areas for handicapped animals must be equipped with suitable bathing containers according to the size of the handicapped animals, not for field quail. Rorys of the species shall not be allowed to put water vessels in the areas for handicapped animals due to the risk of drowning.
5. Minimum size and equipments of the space for the hoarders
(a) for intensive care there shall be spaces for handicapped animals with an area of 0,6 m2 and a height of 0,8 m, the minimum length of the shortest wall shall be 0,6 m, for a maximum of 1 adult handicapped animal or for 1 to 2 pups, for each additional handicapped animal 0,06 m2 extra;
(b) for rehabilitation, rearing and long-term rearing, there shall be premises for handicapped animals with an area of 7 m2 and a height of 2 m, the minimum length of the shortest wall is 2 m, for 1 to 2 handicapped animals, for each additional handicapped animal 1,2 m2 in addition,
(c) for the preparation for release, there shall be spaces for handicapped animals of 36 m2 and 3 m high, the minimum length of the shortest wall is 4 m, for 1 to 10 handicapped animals according to tolerability,
(d) there must be barrels, natural branches or parts of wood in the bark in the areas for handicapped animals;
(e) if the bathing of the handicapped animal is not restricted for health reasons, the areas for the handicapped animals must be equipped with a bathing tank;
(f) an interchangeable sanitary litter of suitable natural material must be used in part of the areas for handicapped animals;
(g) the areas for handicapped animals must be partially covered and shrouded so that the handicapped animals can hide from adverse weather effects.
6. Minimum size and equipment of space for porcupines (except swans), divers, divers, cormorants and lysks
(a) for intensive care there shall be spaces for handicapped animals of an area of 0,6 m2 and a height of 0,8 m per animal;
(b) for rehabilitation, preparation for release, rearing and long-term breeding, the range shall be 17 m2 for 1 to 5 adult handicapped animals according to tolerability, or 1 to 20 pups, for each additional adult handicapped animal 2 m2 extra;
(c) for rehabilitation and preparation for release, the areas for handicapped animals shall be equipped with a bathing tank allowing bathing at least 15 cm deep,
(d) for long-term breeding, the areas for handicapped animals shall be equipped with a bathing tank of a depth of at least 0,2 m for floating ducks and geese and a depth of at least 0,4 m for other handicapped animals and an area of 17 m2 for 1 to 2 handicapped animals, for each additional handicapped animal of 2 m2 extra.
7. Minimum size and equipment space for seagulls and fishermen
(a) for intensive care, the areas for handicapped animals of 0,6 m2 and 0,8 m high,
(b) for rehabilitation, rearing and long-term rearing, there shall be spaces for handicapped animals with an area of 9 m2 and a height of 2 m, the minimum length of the shortest wall is 2 m, for 1 to 4 handicapped animals, for each additional handicapped animal 1 m2 extra,
(c) for the preparation for discharge, there shall be spaces for handicapped animals (pulverised optional) of an area of 30 m2 and a height of 2,5 m, the minimum length of the shortest wall is 3 m, preferably polygon, for 1 to 4 handicapped animals, for each additional handicaped animal 3 m2 extra,
(d) the areas for handicapped animals must be equipped with a bathing vessel of 0,5 m2 for 1 to 2 handicapped animals, for each additional disabled animal 0,05 m2 more.
8. Minimum size and equipment of the space for mud, rattlesnakes and small beech
(a) for intensive care, the areas for handicapped animals of 0,6 m2 and 0,8 m high,
(b) for rehabilitation, rearing and long-term rearing, there shall be premises for handicapped animals of area 9 m2 and height 2,5 m, the minimum length of the shortest wall is 1,5 m, for 1 to 4 handicapped animals, for each additional handicapped animal 1 m2 extra,
(c) for the preparation for discharge, there shall be spaces for handicapped animals (the dismantling option) of 30 m2 and 2.5 m high, the minimum length of the shortest wall shall be 3 m,
(d) the areas for handicapped animals shall be equipped with a bathing tank of 10 cm depth and an area of 0,5 m2 for 1 to 4 handicapped animals, for each additional handicapped animal 0,03 m2 additional.
9. Minimum size and equipment of the space for the rake (except quails)
(a) for intensive care, the areas for handicapped animals of 0,6 m2 and 0,8 m high,
(b) for rehabilitation, long-term breeding and rearing of young animals, there shall be premises for handicapped animals of area 9 m2 and height 2 m, the minimum length of the shortest wall is 1,5 m, for 1 to 4 handicapped animals, for each additional handicapped animal 1 m2 extra,
(c) for the preparation for release, there shall be spaces for handicapped animals (pulverised optional) of an area of 30 m2 and a height of 2,5 m, the minimum length of the shortest wall shall be 3 m, for 1 to 4 adult handicapped animals, or for 1 to 10 pups, for each additional disabled animal 3 m2 additional,
(d) the areas for handicapped animals must be equipped with fine sand for the ash of daggers; the ceilings for areas for handicapped animals must be of soft or flexible material to avoid injury to birds.
10. Minimum size and equipment space for weasel and canine animals (except wolf), raccoons and wild cat
(a) for intensive care and adoption care, the size of the space for handicapped animals must correspond to the length of the body of the handicapped animal, including the stretched tail, the space for handicapped animals must be so wide that the disabled animal can be conveniently turned,
(b) for rehabilitation, rearing of pups, preparation for release and long-term breeding of the badger, raccoon, wild cats and canine animals, there shall be spaces for handicapped animals of area 12 m2 and height 2 m, minimum length of the shortest wall is 2 m, for 1 handicapped animal, for each additional handicapped animal 2 m2 additional,
(c) for rehabilitation, breeding of pups, preparation for release and long-term breeding of other lasicoids, except for otter, the areas for handicapped animals of area 6 m2 and height 2 m, minimum length of the shortest wall is 1,5 m, for 1 handicapped animal, for each additional handicapped animal 1 m2 extra,
(d) for the rehabilitation and rearing of young otters, the areas for handicapped animals of 18 m2 and 2 m high for 1 handicapped animal, for the preparation for release and long-term rearing of otters must be those for adult handicapped animals of 80 m2 and 2 m high for 2 handicapped animals, for each additional handicapped animal 10 m2 extra, for the preparation for release of handicapped animals which have been kept in the establishment since the age of the cub, shall be those for the handicapped animals of 600 m2;
(e) the areas for handicapped animals shall be provided with wooden sheds for each handicapped animal, of a size corresponding to the size of the disabled animal,
(f) for kunas and wild cats, the areas for handicapped animals shall be equipped with strains for climbing or bunk beds of at least 1,5 m;
(g) for skaters, weasels and badgers, the areas for handicapped animals must be equipped with strains and rocks for climbing and for hiding;
(h) for river otter, European and American mink, the areas for handicapped animals shall be equipped with a bathing tank for swimming of at least one third of the size of the minimum size of the area and a depth of at least 0,2 m, for otter 1,5 m,
(i) the areas for handicapped animals must be sandy areas or bowls with natural material to bury faeces.
11. Minimum size and equipment of the premises for the boar and wolf
(a) for intensive care there shall be spaces for handicapped animals of 20 m2 and 2.5 m high, the minimum length of the shortest wall is 2,5 m, or a cage bond which means a cage with a sliding longer wall allowing the immobilization of the disabled animal, spaces for handicapped animals shall be enclosed by fixed bars or mesh;
(b) for rehabilitation, rearing of pups, preparation for release and long-term breeding, the wolf must have an area of 300 m2 for one pair, for each additional handicapped animal 30 m2 for additional, the feature of the ostevid must have an area of 40 m for one additional handicapped animal, for each additional handicapped animal 5 m2 for an additional,
(c) for adoption care, the wolf must have a 6 m2 area for handicapped animals;
(d) for the wolf, there shall be a separate space for handicapped animals of 6 m2 and 2 m high, the minimum length of the shortest wall being 1 m;
(e) for the rind of the island, there shall be a separate space for handicapped animals with an area of 5 m2 and a height of 2 m, the minimum length of the shortest wall is 1 m, only in long-term breeding or in female breeding with pups;
(f) the areas for handicapped animals must be equipped with wooden sheds for each handicapped animal;
(g) for the bobcat, the areas for handicapped animals shall be equipped with a bunk bed located at a height of at least 1,5 m; in the range shall be tribes to climb and sharpen claws;
(h) the areas for handicapped animals must have a sandy area for the disposal of faeces;
(i) for the wolf, the areas for handicapped animals shall be equipped with a bunk bed or a strong strain located at a height of about 1 m to rest;
(j) for the wolf, there shall be fixed bars for the areas for handicapped animals, or undisconnected mesh.
12. Minimum size and equipment space for brown bear
(a) for intensive care of the brown bear, there shall be spaces for handicapped animals with an area of 40 m2, the minimum length of the shortest wall is 3 m, and a height of 3 m, with separate space for handicapped animals with an area of 9 m2 and a height of 2 m, for 1 handicapped animal,
(b) for rehabilitation, rearing, long-term breeding and wintering, there shall be spaces for handicapped animals or a 200 m2 range area with a separate space for handicapped animals of 12 m2 and a height of 3 m for 1 handicapped animal, 20 m2 extra for each additional handicapped animal;
(c) inside the areas for handicapped animals, there shall be a massive wooden shed for each handicapped animal, and strong strains for climbing and scratching,
(d) for long-term brown bear breeding, the areas for handicapped animals shall be equipped with a bathing tank at a depth of at least 1,2 m and articles for play;
(e) brown bear compartments shall have fixed bars and solid floors; for the enclosure, the suspected depth shall be at least 1,5 m.
13. Minimum size and equipment space for wild boar
(a) for intensive care there shall be spaces for 1 adult handicapped animal of 12 m2;
(b) for rehabilitation, rearing of young animals, preparation for discharge and long-term rearing, the premises for disabled animals of 50 m2 for 1 to 2 adult handicapped animals must be additional 1,2 m2 for each additional handicapped animal,
(c) the areas for handicapped animals must be enclosed and have a separate space of 6 m2;
(d) in the case of artificial breeding of suckling piglets, the areas for handicapped animals of an area of 1,5 m2 with an output of 6 m2 for 1 to 10 piglets,
(e) areas for handicapped animals shall be fitted with a shelter of 1,5 m2 and a height of 1,2 m for 1 to 2 handicapped animals, for each additional handicapped animal 0,15 m2 in addition;
(f) in the case of long-term breeding, wild pigs shall have the opportunity to be engraved in the form of a sandpit, a clay or a calendars in the area for handicapped animals.
14. Minimum size and equipment of premises for deer
(a) for young deer in intensive care, the areas for handicapped animals of an area of 1,8 m2 with an area of 6 m2,
(b) for adult handicapped animals in intensive care, the premises for handicapped animals of 12 m2,
(c) for rehabilitation, rearing of the pups and preparation for release, the range of 100 m2 for 1 handicapped animal or deer with pups shall be 20 m2 extra for each additional handicapped animal;
(d) for long-term breeding, the range of 200 m2 shall be for one handicapped animal or deer with pups, 20 m2 extra for each additional handicapped animal;
(e) a shelter of 1,5 m2 and a height of 1,5 m shall be in the enclosure;
(f) for deer in long-term breeding, they must be in the range of equipment suitable for beating antlers;
(g) for cubs in intensive care and for adoption care, grazing must be possible.
15. Minimum size and equipment of premises for deer, excluding deer
(a) for young deer, except deer, the areas for handicapped animals of an area of 7 m2 with an area of 24 m2 shall be in intensive care;
(b) for adult handicapped animals in intensive care, the premises for handicapped animals of 48 m2,
(c) for rehabilitation, rearing of pups, preparation for release and long-term breeding, the range of 200 m2 shall be for 1 handicapped animal or deer with pups, for each additional handicapped animal 20 m2 extra;
(d) there must be a shelter of 6 m2 in the enclosure;
(e) for long-term rearing deer, the strain or stake must be in the range to be used to beat the antlers;
(f) for cubs in intensive care and for adoption care there must be the possibility of grazing.
16. Minimum size and equipment room for muflon
(a) for the young Muflon in intensive care, the areas for handicapped animals with an area of 1,8 m2 with an area of 6 m2,
(b) for adult handicapped animals in intensive care, the premises for handicapped animals of 12 m2,
(c) for rehabilitation, breeding of pups, preparation for discharge and long-term breeding, the range of 200 m2 shall be for 1 handicapped animal or female with pups, for each additional handicapped animal 20 m2 extra;
(d) there must be a shelter of 1,5 m2 in the enclosure;
(e) for cubs in intensive care and for adoption care, grazing must be possible.
17. In the long-term breeding of adult males of all ruminants, separation of the range is necessary for the possibility of contact-free operation as well as for the separation of females or pups. The connecting door shall be operable from the outside. There must be shelter in both parts. The areas for handicapped animals shall be enclosed by fixed bars.
18. Minimum size and equipment for hedgehogs
(a) for intensive care, rearing and rehabilitation, the areas for handicapped animals of 0,25 m2 for 1 handicapped animal, preparation for release and long-term rearing of hedges must be areas for handicapped animals of 2 m2 for 1 to 2 handicapped animals, for each additional handicapped animal 0,4 m2 for each additional animal, a maximum of 10 handicapped animals may be held in one group;
(b) for winter sleep of hedgehogs, the spaces for disabled animals with an area of 0,4 m2 for 1 handicapped animal, for each additional handicapped animal shall be 0,04 m2 extra;
(c) the areas for handicapped animals must be provided with suitable shelters;
(d) for outdoor runs, there shall be a natural surface allowing hedgehogs to find food;
(e) heating must be provided for active handicapped animals at a temperature above 17 ° C in winter.
