Order of the Minister of Justice
of 29 January 1949
determining the seat of the regional courts and the headquarters and districts of the district courts.
The Minister of Justice hereby orders pursuant to § 1, § 2 and § 2, § 2 of the Act of 22 December 1948, No 320 Coll., on the territorial organisation of regional and district courts:
By derogation from the provisions of § 1 (1) of Act No. 320 / 1948 Coll., the District of the Regional National Committee in Gottwald provides the seat of the Regional Court in Uherské Hradiště.
(1) The offices and districts of the District Courts shall be established in agreement with those of the District National Committees.
(2) Derogation from the provisions of paragraph 1
1. the seat of the District Court shall be established;
(a) in Železné Broda for the District of the National Committee of the District of Semily,
(b) in Náměště nad Záslavou for the District National Committee in Great Bíteš,
(c) in the Strážnice for the District of the National Committee in Vesel nad Moravou,

a) Civil District Court in Prague for the District of the Central National Committee in Prague and for the Circuits of the District National Committees of Prague-North, Prague-East and Prague-West,
b) District Court of Criminal Court in Prague for the District of the Central National Committee in Prague and for the District of the National Committees of Prague-North, Prague-East and Prague-West,
(c) Dobríš District Court for the District of the National Committee in Dobříš, the District Court for the District of the District of the National Committee of the Praha- south,
(d) the District Court of Pilsen for the District of the Central National Committee in Pilsen and for the District of the District National Committee of Pilsen;
(e) the district court in Liberec for the district of the central national committee in Liberec and the district of the district national committee in Liberec,
f) Civil District Court in Brno for the District of the Central National Committee in Brno and for the District of the District National Committee in Brno,
(g) the District Court of Criminal in Brno for the District of the Central National Committee in Brno and for the District of the District National Committee in Brno,
(h) the District Court of Olomouc for the District of the Central National Committee in Olomouc and the District of the District National Committee of Olomouc;
ch) Regional Civil Court in Ostrava for the District of the Central National Committee in Ostrava and for the District of the District National Committee in Ostrava,

(o) the District Court in Nové Šemce for the Circuits of the District National Committees of Nové Zámky and Šurana,
(p) District Court in Košice for the District of the National Committee of the City of Košice and for the District of the District National Committee of the Košice-surroundings,
(r) the District Court of Poprad for the District of the National Committee of Poprad and the District of the National Committee of the Municipality of Vysoké Tatry,
s) District Court in Sečovice for the District National Committees of Sečovce and Trebišov,
(t) Humenné District Court for the District of the National Committees of Humenné and Snina.
Until such time as the territory of the counties is adapted to the regional borders and the territory of the municipalities to the regional and regional borders, the local jurisdiction of the regional and regional courts shall apply to the districts in which the regional and regional national committees are temporarily competent (§ 4, paragraph 2 of the Law of 21 December 1948, No 280 Coll., on the regional establishment and § 16, § 2 of the Government Order of 18 January 1949, No 3 Coll., on the territorial organisation of districts in the Czech countries).
(1) The territorial organisation of the courts resulting from the provisions of Act No. 320 / 1948 Coll. and § § 1 and § 2 is evident from Part I of the Annex to this Regulation, which is part of it.
(2) The Regional and Regional Courts listed in Part II of the Annex, which is part of this Regulation, expire on 1 February 1949.
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 February 1949.
