DECLARATION
Czech National Banks
of 26 March 1993
on the issue of coins after 50 halves of model 1993, the expiry of coins after 50 halves of Czechoslovak currency and their exchange
Czech National Bank pursuant to § 22 (a) and (d) of the Act of the Czech National Council No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank, states:
On 12 May 1993, coins shall be issued for circulation in the form of 50 pennies of model 1993 (hereinafter referred to as "50 pennies').
(1) The 50-nickel is driven from an alloy containing 990 aluminium parts and 10 magnesium parts. The weight is 0.9 g, 19 mm diameter and 1.7 mm thickness. Smooth and serrated fields are alternated on the edge of 50 halers.
(2) A tolerance of 0,1 g, 0,1 mm in diameter and 0,05 mm shall be allowed in the case of a 50-inch embossing. In the composition of the metal, a tolerance of up and down of 0,5% is allowed when embossing.
(1) The Czech lion is on the face of 50 halers as a symbol of Czech statehood. In the copy the name of the state "CZECH REPUBLIC" and at the lower edge of the coin is the year of the stamping. The number of hits is separated from the name of the state by dots. Above the age of the stroke, the lion is placed between the back legs of the mint, which drove the 50-inch.
(2) On the reverse of 50 halves, the marked coin value is "50." The figure "5" fills the whole left half of the coin, the digit "0" is smaller and is placed at the top of the right half of the coin. In the centre of the coin, the two digits intersect partially. Under the figure "0 'is the abbreviation" h' indicating the sub-monetary unit. The upper part of the abbreviation exceeds "0." The two digits of the value number and the letter of the abbreviation are created by four parallel lines. The author of the design of the fifty haler is the academic sculptor Vladimir Oppl, the initials of his name "VO" are placed at the lower left edge of the coin at the figure "5."
(1) The validity of coins after 50 halves of the Czechoslovak currency (1) expires on 31 July 1993.
(2) The coins referred to in paragraph 1 shall be exchanged between 1 August and 30 November 1993 by the Czech National Bank and the banks.2)
This Decree shall take effect on 1 May 1993.
