ORDER
GOVERNMENTS OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC
of 18 March 2020
on the adoption of crisis measures
Following the Government Resolution 194 of 12 March 2020, in accordance with Articles 5 and 6 of Constitutional Act No. 110 / 1998 Coll., on the Security of the Czech Republic, the Government declared emergency status for the territory of the Czech Republic because of a health threat related to the detection of coronavirus / referred to as SARS CoV-2 / in the territory of the Czech Republic and, within the meaning of § 5 (a) to (e) and § 6 of Act No. 240 / 2000 Coll., on crisis management and on the amendment of certain laws (Crisis Act), as amended, for the resolution of the situation arising, the adoption of crisis measures, by virtue of § 5 (e) and § 6 (1) (b) of the Crisis Act.
Government with effect from 19 March 2020 at 00am
amending paragraph I / 3 of the Government Resolution of 15 March 2020 No 214, new:
"3. the validity of the employment permit under Act No. 435 / 2004 Coll., on Employment, as amended, and the short-stay Schengen visa for the purpose of employment issued before the date of publication of this measure, which expires no more than 60 days after the end of the emergency condition, shall be extended to expire 60 days after the end of the emergency condition; the measure is subject to the condition that the employer and the alien agree to extend the basic employment relationship on the basis of which the relevant authorisation was granted, so that the basic employment relationship lasts for the duration of the authorisation extended by the measure; ';
