on the Cultural Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the Republic of Sri Lanka
On 1 July 1975, the Agreement on Cultural Cooperation between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the Republic of Sri Lanka was signed in Kolomb, which, according to its Article II, entered into force on the date of signature.

AGREEMENT
on cultural cooperation between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the Republic of Sri Lanka
Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and Government of the Republic of Sri Lanka
led by the desire to facilitate and extend mutual cooperation in the fields of culture, education, science, art and health,
convinced that such cooperation will effectively help strengthen friendly relations between the peoples of both countries,
they have agreed as follows:
The Parties shall promote the development of cooperation in the fields of culture, education, science, health, media and sport on the principles of understanding and friendship, while respecting the laws of the other country.
The Parties shall promote cooperation and exchange of experience between cultural, educational, scientific, artistic and social organisations of both countries, including exchanges of scientists, educational and educational staff, artists and cultural and social organisations.
The Parties shall support the presentation of musical, theatre, film and exhibitions and the publication of translations of the scientific and artistic works of the other country.
Both Parties will promote the exchange of books, cultural, scientific and artistic journals and films between libraries and other institutions of both countries.
The Contracting Parties will provide citizens of the second State with scholarships to study in their schools, in scientific and cultural institutions.
The Parties shall examine the issue of the recognition of diplomas and scientific degrees and, if deemed necessary, shall conclude a specific agreement for that purpose.
The Parties shall promote cooperation in the fields of film, radio, television and press.
The Parties shall promote contacts between sports organisations and athletes of both countries and the organisation of sports matches.
The Parties shall promote the development of cooperation in the fields of medicine, medical science and health.
For the implementation of this Agreement, the Contracting Parties shall negotiate implementation plans for a specific period of time or agree by diplomatic channels on the actions they intend to organise in the future period.
This Agreement shall enter into force on the date of signature and shall remain in force until one of the Contracting Parties has notified it in writing within the annual period of notice.
