CONSTRUCTION LAW
of 20 March 2013
amending Constitutional Act No. 1 / 1993 Coll., Constitution of the Czech Republic, as amended by later constitutional laws
Parliament has decided on the following constitutional law of the Czech Republic:
Constitutional Act No. 1 / 1993 Coll., Constitution of the Czech Republic, as amended by Constitutional Act No. 347 / 1997 Coll., Constitutional Act No. 300 / 2000 Coll., Constitutional Act No. 395 / 2001 Coll., Constitutional Act No. 448 / 2001 Coll., Constitutional Act No. 515 / 2002 Coll., Constitutional Act No. 319 / 2009 Coll. and Constitutional Act No. 71 / 2012 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. In Article 27 (4), the second sentence is replaced by "If the Chamber withdraws approval, prosecution shall be excluded for the duration of the mandate."
2. In Article 86 (1), the second sentence is replaced by the following: "If the Senate withdraws its consent, prosecution shall be excluded for the duration of the term of office of a Judge of the Constitutional Court."
This constitutional law shall take effect on the first day of the second calendar month following its publication.
