Federal Ministry of Finance

on the issue of commemorative silver hundred and five hundred crowns and commemorative silver to the 100th anniversary of the opening of the National Theatre
The Federal Ministry of Finance declares pursuant to § 3 (2) of Act No. 41 / 1953 Coll., on monetary reform, and pursuant to § 2 (2) of Government Decree No. 35 / 1954 Coll., on commemorative coins:
§ 1
(1) For the 100th anniversary of the opening of the National Theatre, commemorative silver hundred crowns (hereinafter referred to as "hundred crowns") and commemorative silver five hundred crowns (hereinafter referred to as "five hundred crowns") are issued.
(2) Hunting from an alloy of 500 pieces of silver, 400 parts of copper, 50 parts of nickel and 50 parts of zinc, five hundred crowns of an alloy of 900 pieces of silver and 100 parts of copper. The weight of a hundred-crown is 9 g, 5 hundred-crown is 24 g. In the case of stamping, a tolerance up and down of 10 / 1000 and a silver content of 5 / 1000 is permitted. The diameter is 29 mm, five hundred crowns 40 mm. The edge of the hundred crown is serrated, on the edge of the five hundred crown there is a plastic three-time inscription "NATURE OF SOB" and three pairs of lime leaves.
(3) On the face of the Stokoruna is the state emblem of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and under it in the inner copy the designation "100 Kčs," in the outer copy from the left in the unclosed circle is the name of the state "CZECH SOCIALISTIC REPUBLIC."
(4) On the face of the five hundred crown is the state emblem of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and under it the designation of the value "500 Kčs." The name of the state "CZECH SOCIALISTIC REPUBLIC" is in an unclosed copy from the left, in the middle of the mine is the symbol of the National Theatre.
(5) The historical building of the National Theatre is on the back of the Stokoruna. In the copy above it is the name "NATIONAL DIVADLO," under which the years "1883-1983." The author of the Stokron is the academic sculptor Vladimir Oppl whose initials "OV" are at the lower left edge of the building.
(6) On the back of the five-hundred crown, there is a woman with a lyre according to the statue of J. V. Mysbek "Music," on the right behind the historical building of the National Theatre. In the copy at the edge of the coin left and above is the name "NATIONAL DIVADLO." Under the building there are two rows above each other "1883" "1983." The author of the design of the five hundred crown is the well-deserved artist Zdeněk Kolářský, whose name "KOLARSKÝ" is at the edge of the coin below.
§ 2
This Decree takes effect on 3 October 1983.
