Decree of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of the Czech Socialist Republic No. 98 / 1980 Coll.

"(1) A foster parent who carries out foster care in special foster care facilities shall be remunerated by the District National Committee for the performance of foster care and for the work related to the care of entrusted children in the range of 1550 to 2150 CZK per month in the care of up to four children and in the range of 1950 CZK to 2450 CZK per month in the care of five or more children. One foster parent should not be entrusted with more than eight children. In determining the level of remuneration, the Regional National Committee shall take account in particular of the number of children, their age, their state of health and their mental level. If the physical, mental or social development of the child is disturbed in such a way that it requires exceptional individual care and education of the entrusted child (e.g. the consequences of mental deprivation, minor brain dysfunction, sensory defects and chronic diseases), the district national committee shall increase the remuneration set by up to 350 Ccs per month."

This Decree shall take effect on 1 September 1980.
