Regulation on the abolition of state pawnshops

Government Regulation
of 20 November 1951
on the abolition of state pawnshops.
The Government of the Czechoslovak Republic orders pursuant to § 1 paragraph 1 of Act No. 143 / 1949 Coll., on Changes in the Organisation of Public Administration and in the jurisdiction of its bodies:
§ 1.
The lien and rental office in Prague, the pawnshop of the Central National Committee in Brno and the pawnshop of the Single National Committee in Olomouc (state pawnshops) are deleted.
§ 2.
The arrangements for the cancellation of state pawnshops shall be carried out by the Ministry of the Interior in agreement with the Ministry of Finance, after the authorities empowered by them.
§ 3.
Measures taken in conformity with the provisions of this Regulation before its effect shall be deemed to have been taken under this Regulation.
§ 4.
The work of pawnshops will, in the future, be carried out by popular money institutions, which will be determined by the Ministry of Finance in accordance with the regulations on the organisation of money.
§ 5.
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 January 1952; They shall be carried out by the Home and Finance Ministers.
