DECLARATION
of 18 March 2024
on the issue of the gold coin "City Monument Reserve Olomouc" for 5 000 CZK
The Czech National Bank provides pursuant to § 22 paragraph 1 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank, as amended by Act No. 442 / 2000 Coll. and Act No. 89 / 2018 Coll.:
(1) On 28 May 2024, a gold coin "Olomouc City Monument Reserve" is issued in the "City Monument Reserve" cycle for CZK 5,000 (hereinafter "coins").
(2) Coins are issued in the normal version and in a special version with polished field of coin and matt relief.
(3) Coins are rolled of gold of purity 999.9. The weight of the coin is 15,55 g, 28 mm diameter and 1.85 mm thickness. When the coin is embossed, the tolerance in gold purity is up to 0,01%, the difference in weight up to 0,062 g, the tolerance in diameter 0,1 mm and the tolerance in thickness 0,15 mm. The coin edge in the normal version is serrated, the coin edge in the special version is smooth.
(1) Heraldic animals from a large state emblem are depicted on the front side in the central belt of the coin field, on top of the Czech lion, in the middle of the Moravian eagle and on the bottom of the Silesian eagle. Under the Silesian eagle is the denomination of the coin with the abbreviation "5 000 CZK." On the left of the heraldic animals are stylized Gothic vaults and on the right are architectural fragments from the Olomouc Town Hall with the clock. At the left edge of the coin, the text is "MAMATIC RESERVATION '. At the top right edge of the coin is the text" CZECH REPUBLIC "and the brand of the Czech Mint, which consists of the letters" No "and" M. "The brand of the Czech Mint is separated from the text by a brand in the shape of the word.
(2) On the reverse side of the coin is a collage of significant architectural monuments of the Olomouc City Heritage Reserve. In the foreground is the Column of the Holy Trinity and the bell tower of the Church of St. Morice. In the background is the floor plan of the church of St. Morice including the representation of the vaults. At the top of the coin is the text "TOWN OLOMOUC." The year of "2024" is at the bottom right edge of the coin. The initials of the author of the coin, the academic sculptor Zbynek Fojt, which are made up of compositions of letters "F" and "Z" are to the left of the upper part of the Column of the Holy Trinity.
(3) The coin is shown in the annex to this decree.
This decree shall take effect on 28 May 2024.
