The Ministry of Foreign Affairs states that an amendment to the Agreement between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the Republic of Malta on cooperation in the field of health, signed in Prague on 11 January 1980, published under No 2 / 1981 Coll., concerning the deletion of the provisions of Article 6 (1) thereof, as amended by "Each Contracting Party shall provide the citizens of the other Contracting Party who are temporarily located in its territory, in accidents, acute illness or in other urgent cases free of charge medical care."
The amendment to the Agreement entered into force in relations between the Czech Republic and the Republic of Malta on 8 February 1995.
