on physical and financial security of students - foreigners who study in proper daily study at universities
The Ministry of Education of the Czech Socialist Republic provides, in agreement with the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Socialist Republic, the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of the Czech Socialist Republic and other participating central bodies, pursuant to § 98 (2) of Act No. 39 / 1980 Coll., on Higher Education:
General provisions
(1) This decree applies to the material and financial security of foreigners (§ 2 (1)) who study in proper daily study at universities in the field of the Ministry of Education of the Czech Socialist Republic and have been granted permission to reside (1) in the territory of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic (hereinafter referred to as "students') .2)
(2) The material and financial security provided for in this Decree includes the provision of scholarships, accommodation in dormitories and menus.
Provision of physical and financial security
(1) Universities provide physical and financial security to students who have been granted a residence permit in the territory of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic on account of:
(a) marriage to a Czechoslovak State citizen,
(b) the employment relationship of their parents or husbands in the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic, 3)
(c) that one of their parents is a Czechoslovak national,
(d) granting asylum rights in the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic;
e) providing asylum rights in the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic to their parents, who live permanently in the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic.
(2) Mass and financial security shall be provided to the following extent:
(a) to the students referred to in paragraph 1 (a), (b) and (c) a social, beneficial, exceptional, and subject to the conditions laid down in a separate regulation; (4) they are not, however, granted a social scholarship to students and single students with dependent children and a preferential scholarship as well as benefits in the field of social and benefit scholarships granted to students who study the preferred field of study;
(b) to the students referred to in paragraph 1 (d) and (e), a social scholarship, including a social scholarship, granted to students and single students with dependent children, a benefit, an exceptional, preferential and a scholarship of Josef Haken to the extent and under the conditions laid down in the special regulation; (5) they are also granted benefits in the field of social and benefit scholarships granted to students who study the preferred field of study;
(c) to the students and foreigners referred to in paragraph 1, accommodation and meals in menus to the extent provided for by specific regulations. 6)
Final provision
This Decree shall take effect on 1 September 1982.
