Decret of the President of the Republic
of 1 October 1945
on the adjustment of certain issues of organisation and service and pay conditions of the College of Uniformed Prison Guard.
On the proposal of the Government and in agreement with the Slovak National Council, I establish:
The administration and guard services in judicial prisons and criminal institutes are provided by the JRC.
(1) The government shall adapt the staff and salary ratios of members of the JRC by means of a regulation, in accordance with the same rules as those applicable to the staff and police, with derogations resulting from the special nature of prison administrative and surveillance services and the needs of the judicial administration.
(2) The existing provisions on the exercise of administrative and surveillance services in judicial prisons and criminal institutes, unless they contravene those provisions, remain in force.
This Decision shall take effect on the day of its publication; it shall be carried out by all members of the Government.
