of 3 April 1998
amending and supplementing Act No. 199 / 1994 Coll., on Public Procurement, as amended by Act No. 148 / 1996 Coll., and supplementing certain other laws
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
Act of the Czech National Council No. 551 / 1991 Coll., on the General Health Insurance Company of the Czech Republic, as amended by the Act of the Czech National Council No. 592 / 1992 Coll., Act of the Czech National Council No. 10 / 1993 Coll., Act No. 60 / 1995 Coll., Act No. 149 / 1996 Coll., Act No. 48 / 1997 Coll. and Act No. 305 / 1997 Coll., is added as follows:
The following Section 24c is inserted after Section 24b, including footnote 8a:
The competent district insurance undertaking shall, at the request of the tenderer with whom the contract is to be concluded, issue a certificate stating that the tenderer does not have a outstanding premium on public health insurance within seven days of the date of receipt of the application.

The following Section 104i is inserted after Section 104ch, which includes footnote 34a:
The competent district social security administration shall issue, at the request of the tenderer with whom the contract is to be concluded, 34a) a certificate stating that that tenderer does not have a outstanding social security premium or contribution to the national employment policy, within seven days of receipt of the application.

Act of the Czech National Council No. 280 / 1992 Coll., on departmental, branch, corporate and other health insurance companies, as amended by the Act of the Czech National Council No. 10 / 1993 Coll., Act of the Czech National Council No. 15 / 1993 Coll., Act No. 60 / 1995 Coll., Act No. 149 / 1996 Coll. and Act No. 48 / 1997 Coll., is added as follows:
The following Section 8a is inserted after Section 8, including footnote 5a:
The employee insurance undertaking concerned shall, at the request of the tenderer, (5a) with whom the contract is to be concluded, issue a certificate stating that the tenderer does not have a outstanding underpayment of public health insurance premiums within seven days of receipt of the application.

The award of public contracts initiated before this Act is effective shall be completed in accordance with the existing rules.
This Act shall take effect on the day of its publication.
