DECLARATION
Ministry of Transport and Communications
of 20 February 2001
establishing a list of specially equipped terminal telephone equipment
According to § 109 (2) of Act No. 151 / 2000 Coll., on Telecommunications and on the amendment of other laws (hereinafter referred to as "the Act"), the Ministry of Transport and Communications provides for the implementation of § 36 (2) of the Act:
(1) The list of specially equipped terminal telephone equipment which is the holder of a public telephone service licence providing universal service is required to lease at the price of the standard terminal telephone equipment to the citizens referred to in § 29 (2) (g) and (h) of the Act, as annexed to this Decree.
(2) For the purposes of this decree, standard end-use telephone equipment shall mean a standard telephone device which is leased to participants in a public telephone service by the licence holder to which the provision of universal service has been imposed at a time when a citizen is provided with specially equipped terminal telephone equipment.
Efficacy
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.

List of specially equipped terminal telephone devices
Specially equipped terminal telephone devices are:
(a) telephone voice communication devices which enable amplification and regulation of the received voice signal for the needs of severely disabled telephone participants;
(b) telephone voice communication devices which enable the received voice signal to be transmitted to mechanical vibration or other effective technical system for the needs of disabled telephone participants;
(c) telephone additional signalling devices which enable the ringing signal to be amplified for the needs of disabled telephone users;
(d) telephone additional signalling devices which allow the signal to be switched to light signalling for deaf telephone users;
(e) cordless telephone telephony telecommunications equipment for disabled telephone subscribers;
(f) telephone voice telecommunications devices which enable loud communication for the needs of disabled telephone users;
(g) telephone voice telecommunication equipment with an enlarged keyboard for the needs of severely impaired telephone participants.
