about the gift of the Czechoslovak Republic to children for Mother's Day 1947.
The Constitutional National Assembly of the Czechoslovak Republic decided on this law:
(1) The Czechoslovak Republic will give the following gift on Mother's Day 1947 (on 11 May 1947) out of gratitude to multiple families for the benefit of their children:

This amount increases per child by 1.000.- Ccs.
(2) The number of children referred to in paragraph 1 shall include all living children of the Czech, Slovak or other Slavic nationality, marital, illegitimate, stepfather and adopted, who had not yet reached the age of 18 on 11 May 1947.
(3) The gift is given to the mother. If there is no mother or if she does not care for the children, the gift shall be given to the person who cares for the children. If children from the same family are in the care of different persons, the gift shall be given to them in proportion to the number of children in their care.
The list of children for whom the gift is granted and persons to whom the gift is to be surrendered shall be carried out by local national committees for the cooperation of youth care and submitted no later than one month after the publication of this law to the district national committee, which shall submit the gifts within a further 14 days.
Gifts are free of taxes, benefits and fees.
This Act shall take effect on the day of its publication; It shall be carried out by the Minister for Social Welfare in agreement with the Minister for Finance.
