DECLARATION
Federal Ministry of Foreign Trade
of 21 December 1987
on customs concessions on imports of certain non-commercial goods
The Federal Ministry of Foreign Trade, in agreement with the Federal Ministry of Finance and the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs pursuant to § 44 (2) of Customs Act No. 44 / 1974 Coll. provides:
Personal and micro-computers, including accessories and components, shall be exempt from customs duties.
(1) The rate of duty to be charged on imported colour television sets is reduced to 20% of the customs value, to be determined by measuring 1 cm of the diagonal measurement of the screen by the amount of Kčs 150, -.
(2) In the cases referred to in paragraph 1, it shall not be taken into account whether a domestic retail price has been established for the imported colour television.
The rate of duty applicable to goods falling within tariff headings of non-commercial goods (Annex to Decree No 10 / 1988 Coll.), headings 4 (a) to 4 (c) - motor vehicles, headings 11 (a) and 11 (b) - video recorders and video players, item 12 - video cameras for colour recording, items 14 (a) to 14 (e) of sound and reproduction equipment shall be reduced by 50%.
Customs relief under this Order is granted only for goods imported in reasonable quantities under the rules on non-commercial imports of goods. 1)
This Decree shall take effect on the day of its publication and shall expire on 31 December 1989.
