The Order of the Victory of February
The Bureau of the Federal Assembly of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic has acted in accordance with Article 58 (3) of Constitutional Law No. 143 / 1968 Coll., on the Czechoslovak Federation, on the following legal measure:
§ 1
The award of extraordinary merit for the revolutionary workers' movement and the socialist construction of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the award of extraordinary merit for the development of the international communist and workers' movement is established by the Order of the Victory of February.
§ 2
(1) The Order of the Victory of February is given to individuals who have been extremely deserving of the Czechoslovak Revolutionary Workers' Movement, actively fighting against the bourgeoisie and fascism, and have made an enormous contribution to achieving the victory of socialism in the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic, and their political and public activities have made a particularly significant contribution to the implementation of the Communist Party's policy of building a socialist society, as well as individuals who have been extremely deserving of the development of the international communist and workers' movement, friendship and cooperation between nations.
(2) The Order of the Victory of February is also given to working or other collective.
§ 3
The Order of the Victory of February is given by the President of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic to the Czechoslovak citizens and to the Collections and Collections of other states.
§ 4
The Order of the Victory of February has the shape of a toothed wheel formed by broken rays and ears, in whose midst is placed a red, enamelled five-pointed star with August and a hammer. The Order is struck by silver; sickle, hammer, ears and rays are gilded, rays polished. A gold hanging buckle consisting of lime leaves and a stylized ribbon with the inscription "Victory February 1948" is the badge of the order connected to the blue-red-blue ribbon, the colours of which are at a rate of 17: 4: 17. The ribbon is 38 mm wide and 55 mm long.
§ 5
The Order of the Victory of February is worn on the left side of the chest behind the Order of Red collateral. If only the ribbon is worn, it is strained to a rectangular bar of 38 x 10 mm size. The ribbon is worn behind the ribbon of the Order of Red collateral.
§ 6
This legal measure shall take effect on the date of its publication.
