Government Regulation
of 14 March 1958
on the new organisation of state administration on the energy and water sector.
The Government of the Czechoslovak Republic orders, with the agreement of the President of the Republic pursuant to § 1 of Constitutional Act No. 47 / 1950 Coll., on adaptations to the organisation of public administration:
(1) The Central Water Management is hereby repealed.
(2) The Ministry of Energy is hereby established as the Ministry of Energy and Water.
(3) The Ministry of Energy and Water goes to the Ministry of Energy as well as to the Central Water Management, with the exceptions set out in Section 2.
The body of the state administration on the water sector in Slovakia is the Water Management Administration in Slovakia, headed by the Chairman appointed by the Board of Authors.
Detailed definition of the tasks of the Ministry of Energy and Water and Water Management in Slovakia, as well as the tasks of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry on the water sector shall be carried out by the Government.
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 April 1958; All members of the government will do it.
